I've owned every kind of hiking burner you can imagine. While lacking Scientific rigor- no graphs and Laboratory Instruments- sorry to disappoint, I assure you based on anecdotal experience this stove works fine. It does indeed boil water in a reasonable time, even with a little wind by God! I would have preferred a micro burner, but it will do in a pinch and the price is good. Small detail, the tote bag seems highly flammable? It's not a deal breaker.
This stove is definitely light, weighing about one ounce less than several other existing stoves. It’s also aesthetically elegant. However, in the field I’ve found it to be very susceptible to most any breeze, and to have quite poor flame control.
