Ran my first ultra marathon with this pack and was so pleased. I have struggled with finding something that didn't shift during movement. The pack never moved, yet felt light and seamless. I was happy to adjust the ties as my fuel depleted from the pouches. Would recommend to all my friends.
I've been using this vest on Sunday long runs and really enjoying it! The fit is great—snug but not restrictive, and the elastic front closure is a huge improvement over previous clip versions. I've had under arm and neck chaffing in the past but haven't had any issues with this product. It moves with me and feels much more comfortable on long runs. The only minor downside is that the water in the reservoir does slosh around a bit, even with burbing it, but that’s expected with any hydration pack. There are pockets in the front for soft flasks when you don't need the full bladder.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nathan Pinnacle Pro 6L hydration vest is GORGEOUS and impresses with its perfect fit, ample storage, and smart design. The adjustable straps ensure a snug yet comfortable fit, preventing any bouncing during runs. I'm obsessed with the well-placed pockets that make it easy to access my (birthday cake) gels and my phone! The lightweight materials and mesh back provide excellent ventilation, keeping me cool and dry. This vest is practical, durable, may I say, gorgeous. Highly recommend it for any runner wanting to look and feel AMAZING!
I used the vest for long runs. It has multiple options to adjust it to your body. What I really like about it is the fact that I don't feel it when I run. I did have to spend 5 min to ensure I pull a in all the right places to ensure all is adjusted to my body. The bottles are very good too. They are flexible and easy to squeeze. The only suggestion I would have is to isolate the bottles better so they can keep lower temperature. All-in -all, I recommend this vest, you will enjoy running with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vest is perfect. I've used it for some of my longer runs and it's a great mix of having enough space for hydration and some snacks or gels, while still being lightweight. After getting used to wearing the vest my first few workouts I now barely notice it. I highly recommend it, especially if you run long distance and find it hard to fuel during your runs. I can also see it being super useful for hikes. I wear a size M-L shirt and the M vest fits me well!
The long straws are not ideal and flap around and out of the loose stitching provided. I had to use safety pins on my race, to fasten them down making it difficult when dehydrating and filling up. Lost valuable minutes during my race. This seems like a Nathan thing with the long straws. I'm guessing you can switch them out, but it's an added cost.
Hello, Thanks for your feedback! The straws can be trimmed to your preferred length for a more secure fit, which should help prevent flapping. If you're noticing loose stitching, please reach out to our customer service team—we’d be happy to replace your vest. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is THE vest. As an average everyday runner, I run about as bare as I can. Wearing this when I need water on trail or longer runs, I seem to forget I’m wearing anything. Sipping out of the conveniently placed straws getting my water, it holds the perfect capacity and feels as durable as they come. Highly recommend
This vest is comfortable, perfect for medium to long runs, love the ability to take water and electrolytes both in the two separate bottles. Love the large bottom pocket at the back of the vest for multiple gels (or could fit a phone)!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got a size XS and it fits perfect (5'4 125lb female). Slightly more heavy than my Pinnacle Breeze, but still super breathable. The added pocket on the back is a super nice feature for longer outings. Love it!
There are so many pockets. The main reason I went with Nathan is because of their front pocket storage. It fits snug but when I tried on the large it was too big. So snug it is
