I have a 30 pound French bulldog that loves to come hiking with us, and this bag is a lifesaver! It’s great for some of the steeper hikes that he struggles with as well as hot days! This pack allows him to join all the fun summer hikes!

Returned and then re-purchased! The straps adjust!

I initially bought the XS for my 12 lb pup. It fit him perfectly when the straps on the side were all the way cinched, but it did not fit me in the shoulder straps - they were too tall. I chose to return it for the XXS. Although the XXS fit me better in the shoulder straps, it was a smidge too small for my pup. I still had the XS in the store when I explained my predicament to the backpack associate. They took a look at both packs and realized that the straps were adjustable! So, I kept the originally purchased XS. I am an average-sized, 125 lb, 5' 4" female. The only "negative" which did not actually bother me is that the waist strap actually strapped over my ribs. However, I do have a long torso, so that may not be the case for everyone.
