Good shoes for normal to narrow width
This is good fit. I'm a 7.5 and they are true to size. My feet are on the narrower side of normal. I bought a couple pairs of their ankle socks to wear with these shoes and they are comfortable. I'm still taking the time to break them in with shorter walks in the foothills. No blisters, slipping heels or hot spots. I bought the tan canvas and I like the contrast. The orange laces are very bright. At least I'll never lose sight of my feet.
Meh
First 4.5 mile walk and got a heal blister. I guess I didn't try them with Salewa socks per their guarantee. Seems like they are OK but I expected a nicer glove-like fit. I'll work on a new inside and try different socks and make it work.
Shoe salve for blister-prone feet
I love Salewa shoes!! Who else guarantees “no blisters”? As a protruding-heel-bone-blister-host, the curved last of Salewa shoes does the trick for lasting comfort, no matter the number of miles traveled. I bought the dark grey version of these and they took me in style to the heights of the Green Mountains to the streets of Manhattan in style!!
Absolutely love these – comfy and practical!
I’m really happy with these. I ended up getting them in this color too because they’re just so comfortable. The sizing is spot on, and they even held up well in the rain, even though they’re not waterproof. I think they’re a great choice for light to moderate hikes, but they’re just as good for everyday walks in the park. They’re flexible, lightweight, and don’t feel stiff or heavy at all.
Good buy!
I bought it on clearance to replace my old timberland and I love it. Not only the quality, but also the design and confort.
nice!
The only downside is it runs a little small, I would order at least a half size up. The sole is extra sticky, sounds like octopus suction cups as you walk across a wood floor, and is very light shoe. I've had shoes with similarly sticky soles and, let me tell you, what a dream. So nice. great for slippery rocks or slightly wet floors, You can walk confidently through any commercial dish room (summer camps!) or seaside scramble with ease and confidence. The colors are true to the photograph Comfy shoe on uneven and even terrain. cushy with out being squishy.
Perfect fit!
Perfect fit! And so comfortable. Love the color and texture of the material.
Went hiking in Montana, I did not have the chance to break these in and they were still phenomenal. I would buy these again in a heart beat.
