Arc'teryx  Konseal SL Pullover Hoody - Men's

Purchased Sea Salt colour. When first purchased I feared it was a bit oversized as an XZL but I'm 6'3" 245 and when hiking it fits just right. I often hike steep rocky trails. The bottom hem can be pulled in and the loose fit provides plenty of room to stretch and move. It turned out to be a perfect size. While I would've appreciated pit zips to more customize temp adjusting the front zips open wide and suffices well. I find that i wear this in temps from 10-20 C in comfort over a merino base layer shirt. I reach for this fleece now more than my others. It's become my first go-to overall.

Love this thing but it swallowed me and had to return it for a smaller size. I’m an XL tshirt, large is almost all jackets and had to get a medium. Super soft super comfy but I use it more for everyday use. If using it for climbing only I might stick to normal size but otherwise go a size down. 5’9” 200lbs

Since this jacket is a relatively new addition to the Arc'teryx collection with limited reviews available, I was initially hesitant to purchase it. As my other Arc'teryx clothing tends to be a snug fit and the Konseal Pullover Hoody has a looser fit, I decided to order a size up. This way, I could wear it not only for outdoor activities but also for casual, oversized styling in town. When I received the jacket, it immediately felt perfect for my needs. It’s roomy enough to layer over a thick base layer for colder weather yet warm enough to wear over a T-shirt at home or around town. While I still need more time to assess its durability and technical performance, I am very pleased with the jacket so far.

I love almost everything about it. Nice relaxed fit even at the Cuffs which is unusual. The long front zipper is the bonus for dumping Heat and making it easy to take on and off although the interior fleece grabs most clothing so it still wants to pull your shirt off when you remove it. Very thin but weatherproof and useful Hood with quick cinch pull on the back. Fully helmet compatible. Honestly I actually wish it wasn't helmet compatible since this is a fleece item and the hood is so thin it is not going to keep you very warm or fight off much rain so it would be better suited to going under a helmet. Love the drawcord to keep out the cold and also changed the look. Wish it had side pockets or kangaroo pocket.

Quality always better than expected. Rugged comfortable and stylish. No surprises with sizes. I always order one size bigger for my arm length and to layer.

Bought this hoping for a cozy and durable hoodie for everyday wear and layering. Was quite disappointed. Pros: - It’s lightweight and packs down so good for travelling. - It performs well in the wind, especially with the drawstring waist and hood. Cons: - it looks very shiny in real life, especially outside. - it’s very noisy do to all the technical fabrics, not good for casual wear. - the logo doesn’t sit well in the chest, even with an athletic physique it’s constantly lopsided sloping down. - the inside felt is a nice double layer but is too thin and not soft. Far inferior to alternatives such as the better sweater. - The wrists are not adjustable in any way and hard to roll. This makes them constantly come over the hands. - no pockets, this was expected but wearing it you really wish it had some.

I love this pullover. The quality is top notch as I expected from Arc’teryx. It is definitely not for anything colder than 50 degrees without some extra layers, but it does a good job for what it’s intended. It does run a little bit large in my opinion. I’m normally a xxl but I feel like I could easily be happy with an xl. The extra size permits for more layers so I’m fine with it. I would definitely buy again.

Time will tell how it holds up, but it's comfy, fits on the large size, which I appreciate as I'm tall but too slim for XL's and often find a large fits but doesn't have the length I need. I got it in black and love the look. Just as at home teaching rope rescue as it is running errands in town and everything in between. The only change is make would be to have hand pockets.
