Got this light about 2 weeks ago and have been using it pretty steady. I was a little worried at first on the voice control, man was I wrong. Every command that I gave the light, no matter what tone i used, it changed. Being able to change the brightness while your hands are full is a great feature. Tried the Red, Blue & Green lights the past weekend while setting trail cameras, The Blue & Green colors are plenty bright to see where you going at night. The Red was not as bright as the other 2 colors at night. As with my other coast products, the lifetime warranty is a great thing! Having USB C rechargeable is great as well. I would definitely recommend this light.

I own several headlamps, XPH35R and XPH25R. Both are great work lights. This one intrigued me since it is voice activated and didn’t know how well it would do. I was impressed. I work in the construction industry and put this light to the test. I like the different light outputs. You do have to learn the commands that start with “coast” such as “coast on” or “coast off”. It did have difficulty understanding the commands in a noisy environment where I had to wear earplugs. I had to move in a quieter environment and the commands were properly. Overall, it a great, tough light.

Wow, I am shocked how good the voice control works. I was a little leery, but when I am working on my car at night, my hands are usually really greasy and/or have a tool in them. Headlamp is very bright has red green blue. I don’t need the colors but if you do, they’re awesome. I don’t care for the back compartment little bulky but gotta put the battery somewhere. It comes with a wire extender from the battery. It took me a little bit to figure out what it was for, I don’t understand why you need it but it’s there if you do. Overall, awesome headlamp first voice control one I’ve seen works flawlessly, COAST is awesome company, also I love the brightness and dim wheel very nice. You can adjust to the perfect brightness by the wheel or by voice.

I’m not the biggest fan of voice control products but this is one that completely makes sense. I can’t count how many times I’ve been using a headlamp and either have something in my hands or my hands are dirty when I need to turn a headlamp on or off or make it brighter . After using this headlamp, I can’t believe it hasn’t been done sooner. Using the voice control works and it works flawlessly every time, I was very skeptical it was gonna be gimmicky. It allows full control of all the headlamp functions. If you’re using this headlamp when walking or running, it also has a red light that also flashes on the back of the band. Awesome headlamp with voice control that actually works!

The RL35R is the perfect light, Working in the automotive industry there are many times hands free is convenient but voice activated is a total game changer! I have put this light to the test for the past 6 days and have to say it has exceeded my expectations. The multiple light functions all have their purpose. Voice activation works flawlessly even in high noise areas. Especially when I am using my meter in low light conditions and can verbally turn on and off light without having to stop my testing. Battery life is better then expected with included charge cord and extension cord for battery box to relocate battery to your belt if you don’t want the added weight on the headband. Coast makes quality products I own many and they are my go to for lights!

Always keep in mind what your own needs are for any light. This definitely is well worth your consideration. Pros - Ease of Use: The headlamp is user-friendly and intuitive. - Responsive Voice Controls: Commands are recognized and executed swiftly, akin to a smartphone's personal assistant. Even with an accent the lamp had no issues responding to commands. - Adjustable Settings: A dial allows for fine-tuning of the headlamp's brightness and modes. - Versatile Lighting Modes: Includes both flood and spotlight options. - Color Variety: Features blue and green light as well as a red arc lights. A warm white arc option is also included. - Safety Feature: A rear headlamp in red (on/off/pulsating) enhances visibility from behind for bike rides and other situations where this may be desirable. - Build: Like other Coast products this feels like a high quality device when you handle it. The design features clean lines and well-thought out when it comes to using it. I am truly excited about this headlamp and the coolest feature of anything on the market that is voice control along with the rear safety lamp and the silicone lined strap with the ability to use as a power bank the complete lineup of colors red, green, and blue along with the arc feature which is awesome and to be able to use them all while your hands are doing other things is a game changer and of course I am always impressed with the quality of Coast products in general and the light produced is second to none for the price point and the lifetime warranty you can't go wrong with Coast products and i will continue to use them and recommend them to anyone. I was sent this headlight from coast to try and test for free. I really liked the voice activated features, i work as a mechanic and for me the voice activation is awesome! You have to push the button on the bottom of the lamp and it turns green letting you know that its ready to listen to your commands. When you say the commands the lamp responds right away switching to different commands from spot beam to flood is pretty quick. It makes it easy to just say what type of light you want to use and presto! You can also just use it manually and works the same. I took some pictures of outside with different settings and its lights up my backyard alot. The battery pack is a little big and has a flashing red light so you can turn on and be seen in the dark but it still comfortable wearing it for a while, you can also remove the battery pack and use a separate cable that comes with it so you can clip it to your pocket or wherever you want to making the headlamp a little lighter.

In my line of work, I cannot be fumbling with any type of light with the things that can get and usually do get on my hands. This is a genius idea. 9/10 only because the battery pack comes off if you put the light on your forehead first then go over your head. You have to put the battery pack on the back of your head first. I received this product free as a field tester, but I would buy this in a heartbeat. Honestly, I'll probably get my fiancé 1. You don't have to use the voice function and there is an extension that comes with it if you want to wear the battery pack/hazard light on another part of your body. Added bonus, just like many of their other products, it can charge your devices as well. It charges quickly and holds a charge for a very long time. I wish I could post the video I made. It's crazy how bright this little thing is, and the blue light feature is pretty cool too.

I've used this light for a couple of weeks now and have to say it is a great versitile light. The ARC light feature is really useful for working up close without getting glare on your project. I used it working on a furnace in an attic with poor lighting and it was perfect. The Flood light is great when outside at night, while the spot can really zoom in on far away objects. I didn't have occation to use the red, green or blue lights. The taillight integrated in the battery holder is a nice touch. I kept it mostly attached to the headband, but comes with an extension cable so you can clip it to your belt making the headlamp much lighter. After two weeks of use multiple times daily, the battery is still at 3/4 charge. So you will not have any issue with battery capacity. The added bonus of this light is the voice control. Just turn on the voice control button and you can control the light with a series of commands. This comes in handy when doing work that requires both hands and you need to adjust the beam pattern or light level. Charging is a breeze with the integrated USB C charge port on the end of the battery pack. All in all, this is a great light with plenty of output and a lot of features. I highly recommend it.
