A Welcomed Upgrade
I've had various roof boxes for over 30 years and have always just thrown random carpet scraps/floor mats on the bottom of the box and never really thought much about it. When I purchased the motion 3L recently i saw this liiner and figured why not. I couldn't be more pleased upon arrival. Its a rubbery/grippy mat that fits every corner of the box perfectly with slits where ya need them for tie downs. The floor mats/carpet scraps were always shifting around and this thing cant go anywhere its perfect. Plus its nice to open a brand new box and see a custom mat instead of scraps or old mats. Thank you for this!!
Solution to sliding cargo
Even though it takes up a couple of inches of usable space in the cargo box, it was well worth it. Items stay in place, making it easier to use the strap downs to avoid shifting during unexpected hard braking. It is a definite plus over makeshift padding that was available to me.
