Delta Pro 3 Power Station, a “Balanced” approach

Full filling one of my “Bucket List” items I purchased the Delta Pro 3 Power Station. Why? Because, 1.) I like the physical design; 2.) I like the number of charging methodologies; 3.) I like the straight forward simplicity of use; 4.) and I like the balanced design of a 4KW inverter operating off of a 4KW battery (keeps the math simple). I’ve wired the DP3 into my home wiring using a manual transfer. The system is expanded with a DP3 Extra Battery and supplemented with solar panels and a dual fuel Smart Generator. The system is simple, effective, expandable and integrated. Doesn’t get much better than this!!

Excellent features but...

Great overall features. Cannot be used for a network or router UPS. Unless of course if you never want to upgrade the Delta Pro 3 software. All power output connections are turned off during the software upgrade process. Therefore if you have your wireless router or access point or fiber/cable modem plug in to it for a UPS, your network will go down and then you will receive an error message that the software upgrade failed because of your internet connection. You're stuck on the same software version. I am really not sure why someone in software/product development did not catch this bug/issue. BTW all EcoFlow UPS products have the same design flaw.

EcoFlow buyer beware

If you purchase from this company be VERY sure you know what the warranty policy is. They are slimy to say the least. I purchased one of their products, it broke after 10 months of use. The replaced it with a refurbished unit which was broken out if the box. They then informed me that that was not returnable. Look up this company. Search for EcoFlow glacier consumer protection.

Couldn’t be happier

I wanted something to run my pellet stove in outages and had searched for some time. This unit surpasses my hopes. Unobtrusive, looks fine in the living room and does everything advertised and worry free safety wise. It will run my pellet insert for nearly 4 days with additional outlets for anything else such as critical items like the coffee pot. Excellent quality and well thought through like being able to make all adjustments off my phone. Well done EcoFlow.

Ecoflow delivers!

Excellent quality, I had a friend who bought an Ecoflow product, and it died within warranty , unfortunately. Eco flow came through amazingl, and replaced Is the unit at no cost. Not very many companies today have such great warranties. This there's been a lot of power outages in my area lately and I bought this mainly for emergencies. Would be good to power the refrigerator freezer and charge Electronic devices. As expected, the unit is quite heavy and it's not easy to move around without help. The app is a little basic, hoping for some new updates in the future to clean up the UX and add features.

Great product but!

I purchased this two weeks ago and the unit had damage on the box and unit with small indented scratch. Ecoflow sent a return label and I have tried to convince them to issue a small credit. I do not want the hassle of repackage and then have to wait on a new unit. Frustration with several calls and emails.

Our problems are solved

This is a powerhouse of a unit. We were struggling off-grid with deep cycle batteries and inverters to provide simple power needs. Once we got our EcoFlow Delta pro 3 we only had to run a generator maybe 1 hour out of the day. Awesome product!

State of the Art for Portable Battery Backup

State of the Art for portable battery backup. Build quality is excellent. It's very quiet and seems to support higher wattages easily. My primary purpose was to build a modest home backup solution that didn't involve a gas generator. I already have a reliance transfer panel installed which covers several circuits. Looking to expand to other batteries and the Ecoflow dual fuel generator 4000. I have several EcoFlow solar panels and all seem to perform well with this unit. Have not seriously stress tested it yet however very pleased overall.

Ecoflow Delta Pro 3 with one 400w Solar Panel

Arrived quickly and although the outside of the packaging was a little worse for wear, the interior packaging kept the units fully protected. Both the Generator and the solar panel are much heavier than I expected, and I had to have help just getting the generator out of the carton, as I didn't want to destroy the box. The generator is pretty easy to move with the pull-out handle but will probably need to build a ramp to get it in and out of the house for charging. The solar panel was easy to set up and attach, but not sure that just one panel will be of much value if power is out for several days. Guessing it would take 13 hours or more to fully charge. Charge time with one panel is just way too slow. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and will probably purchase an additional solar panel and/or extra battery.
