Perfect Stylish Versatile Boot!
I own three pairs of these boots. They are excellent. Sizing is spot on. I wear an 8 and I can wear them with a thicker or thin sock or no sock at all and they just fit. They look good with narrow pants, boot cut, wide leg. They are just an excellent boot. They keep my feet warm and dry. Are easy on and off. I wear them all year long and my feet stay nice and dry. I live in Alaska so to have a boot that can be used all throughout the year is really saying something. They are stylish enough I wear them to the office and I don't take them off and change into another shoe. I also wear them to do chores around my place. Just a perfect versatile boot!
Im very happy with the comfort, functionality, and look
I love this boot. I bought it for work, I'm a city Park Ranger, and need something comfortable and waterproof. I've worn them a few days now and find they get the job done plus I like how they look. I tried a number of other styles at the same time I ordered these, and it was a no brainer to pick these bc of how supportive they are. I wear Hokas as my alternate foot wear on dry days and these are up there with Hokas. I did add an extra insert for comfort, only slim memory foam that I put in all my shoes, and there was still comfortable space left for lt foot, but not so loose I was overly slipping around like in some sturdy rain boots.
Thin and runs large
I followed the advice and sized up on these boots as I usually do for any of the Bogs Boots I have owned. In this case I really wish I had size down as they are massively huge on my foot. I hopefully will be able to wear them comfortably if I layer up with enough socks or liners. These boots feel very flimsy compared to my other bogs though. I'm glad I got these on sale because otherwise I'm not sure they would be worth the price. They definitely do not keep me warm in colder temperature. I have not experienced any tearing like others have yet, but I was cautious to not pull on the loop while putting them on.
Ran 1 size too large for me
According to the size guide, my usual size 8 boot should have fit well. However, even with my thickest socks, these ran a full size too large. The size 7 fits comfortably and loosely in the same thick socks. The traction isn't quite what I'm looking for, leaving me wishing the Sauvie Slip-On boot came with the same winter lining as this one, likely making an ideal winter muck boot for muddy animal care. A pull-tab on the back would be ideal since two hands are required to remove them. The saffron yellow makes me smile every time I glance at them, so I'll like them until the first time I slip in them.
AMAZING BOOTS! Horrible online buying experience.
These boots are incredible but we had a difficult time trying to buy them....we literally could not buy your product. Three separate individuals attempted to purchase, all having issues with online payment. I wanted these so much I finally called in with a credit card number and it accepted payment - the address security/match was the problem; apparently they were getting similar complaints coming in. Fair enough, fraud security is needed, but other online purchases have never had such an issue. Almost gave up trying to buy these from your website, but happy I did. These boots are amazing. Warm, fuzzy, waterproof, great tread so you're not slipping around on the snow/ice. Awesome boots!
Love these boots!
I love my Bogs...I have had the same pair for 7 years and have worn them through ALL 4 seasons. I wanted to get an ankle boot to easily slip on and off to take my toddler out. These boots meet my expectation of Bogs - exceptionally comfortable. My only complaint is this boot doesn't come in half sizes. I am an exact 8.5. My other Bogs boots are an 8.5 and fit PERFECTLY. I sized down and went with an 8 with this boot and it is just ever so slightly too small. I have walked A LOT in them and still find them comfortable. But if I had like an extra cm it would be even better. Highly recommend!
Look nice but that's about it.
Sizing is right. Look is nice. I was surprised when I opened them. The boot is very thin rubber and really flexible, you could wring them and they'd snap back into shape. NO support. I decided to keep them but after a few wears I could tell they had to go back. My feet were so sore after a few hours of wear. That has never happened to me before. I gave them one last chance walking around for Trick or Treat and sure enough, this morning, my feet feel like I was walking on rocks. I don't trust that they'd be as warm as claimed either..and the pull tab on the back is weak.
LOVE!!
I bought these because it rains a lot where I live plus light snow and have been needing a pair of boots that is light, waterproof, and has good insulation - these ticked off all the boxes. I felt comfortable even in freezing temperature. These are my go-to boots!! I love them!
Not what they used to be…
I bought these boots to replace an earlier version of Bogs. The earlier version was much more formfitting and comfortable working in the field or going indoors. It had a nice square toe and a stylish heel. This new boot is like galoshes. Strictly for the outdoors. I will give it credit for warmth. As a Vegan, I came to Bogs, many years ago, for their incredible cruelty free boots. I am sad to say that they now emphasize their leather options and obviously put more energy into the design/details of those. Bogs: Please go back to your roots. You were marvelous.
Disappointed
I bought this same style of boot a few years back and love them. Wear them spring, fall and winter. I love that they're cute, warm (as long as it's above freezing) but also practical and waterproof. It tends to be muddy where I live so these are perfect. That pair needed to be replaced and I ordered the same pair, however, they aren't exactly the same and I'm pretty disappointed. They aren't as comfortable and they don't fit as well as my earlier pair. The new pair seems more like a boring rainboot than a nice pair of waterproof boots, like my first pair.
