Game changer for road trips

Love love love this little boat! It’s so small and light that I can keep it in the trunk of my car and have it ready to go whenever. This is going to be such a fun summer!

good

I am not here to tell you whether or not packrafts are a worthwhile hobby, but if you are gonna go down the rabbit hole and don’t have a lot of guidance, I’d say this XPD package overall is a pretty good value. You get a massive dry bag and a decent 4pc paddle, plus the actual packraft. These accessories are not cheap if you were to buy them separately. Overall, a reasonable price to get your toes wet and see if this sport is for you.

Do not take in whitewater

I had previously taken the kokopeli reacon on some sections of the lower salmon including “snowhole”, thinking this raft would be the same and I liked the package deal. After taking it on one class III rapid I realized this is not the move. I hit one wavetrain and hole thing filled with water. REMEMBER THIS RAFT IS NOT SELF BAILING. Did good in the whitewater but bailing out that much water is a chore. Great raft for little excursions tho, and the lake. Also the fin option is annoying when rolling up. that’s on me for realizing class iii is not small expedition particularly in the boat haha. Currently searching for the same boat but self bailing tho, perfect shape

Great little boat!

Great boat! I lost the fin but it was because I didn’t install it right. Kokopelli has a great video about how to install it and I’ve taken it out 4 times since with a new fin and it’s been great. Overall love this little boat!

raft/paddle good-seat attachment&fin failed

The raft itself and paddle are good - but the strap that attaches the seat to the raft ripped off the seat the second time I used it - and the click fin came off on the second use as well despite being securely attached before setting out for a paddle
