Great product but manufacturer error maybe?
These are pretty much as I expected, I have some other similar Beyond Yoga shorts and these were gonna be the just right Goldylocks pair for all the lengths and sizes I've tried. I also love the pockets were added. However, it appears that the elastic at the edge of the shorts where the seem is got folded in half in one area. I have been trying to push it back in place and flattend it with no success as it is inside the shorts material. It is driving me crazy because it makes me feel like the shorts edge is rolled up in that area. I was surprised because so far this brand has been very well designed and high quality. As long as that's not the case for you I think these shorts are great.
Favorites but missing from new color releases 😩
These are perfect all stars. I first purchased them for my daily treks around lake so that I could have pockets for phone and keys. I also wear them to yoga Pilates boot camp etc. just the right length and coverage. The fabric is so soft!! My only complaint is that I keep seeing colors being released and these are not in the line up. I do not want a drawstring or bow on my shorts waistband. These are streamlined and clean looking. Please consider offering these in more colors.
Good for Summer Workouts
I never thought I'd like a pair of bike shorts, but like my other Beyond Yoga bottoms, these are delightful. The compression is great, the fabric is thick, yet breathable. I wear them for workouts or coverage under active dresses. Pocket = 5 stars. I'm 5'2", 125lbs, curvy on bottom, and the M fits great. The do roll up (slightly) with high activity workouts, but what bike shorts don't? I'd suggest them and buy them again. The price tag is steep, but I'm a fan of buying 1 quality thing that will last, and these fit the bill. I do wash them inside out to save wear and tear on the seams.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely loved these biker shorts! Was looking for the color green to wear on St Patrick’s Day but also something with a soft fabric. These are now one of my favorite pair of shorts to workout in. The waistband sits extra high on me which is nice considering I’m 6’2 and nothing is ever “high waisted” on me.
Perfect biker shorts for petites!
I'm a petite girly with thick thighs, and these shorts fit perfectly on me. The 7" inseam was too long on me, so when these 5" shorts with pockets (!!!) came out I knew I had to have it. The top part of the waistband is a bit tighter than their leggings and the bottoms still roll up on me (but so do the longer 7" shorts, thick thigh problems) but neither of these bother me. I'm 5'2 and 115 lbs and usually get XS in leggings but bought a small in the bottoms they fit me just how I like. PLEASE MAKE THEM IN MORE COLORS!
I love the Nocturnal Navy
I love the Nocturnal Navy color, and the shorts are just as comfy as I expected them to be. The pockets are the perfect depth to hold my phone when I go for a run. I also love that they don’t slide down so I’m not having to pull them up all the time. The waist goes up a little higher than my BY leggings do. I definitely plan to get more pocket shorts and wouldn’t mind seeing BY come out with pockets on different lengths of shorts.
Already buying a second pair

I have done several different types of workouts in them and they fit snuggly but not too tight and don’t ride up even when you are sprinting in them (I purchased an XS and it’s tight getting the waist band over the hips but worth it so that they fit perfectly with the high waist). I only purchased one pair to try out but I’m already buying a second pair!
Great bike shorts for all kinds of activities!
Love these bike shorts so much! The perfect length, material is comfortable and soft. I went with the small size which was perfect, I’m 5’3” and 105 for reference. I sized up based on other reviews as well as the size chart rec. The pockets are the game changer! The darkest night color is not solid black, more of a speckled color.
Lush color

That said, I decided not to keep the shorts as I prefer to wear leggings to the knee or beyond when I do my yoga practice so I did not keep these shorts.
Comfy and Soft
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shorts are more comfortable than I expected. The waist band doesn’t move much during exercise and the legs stay in place. I have to adjust a few times during a heavy workout but not much. They are very soft and comfy. I usually wear a large or XL in shorts but I felt most comfortable in a medium with these shorts.
