Highest quality French Press!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled to find HydroFlask making a french press just when I needed a new one. If the cost seems a bit high, I'd say the 18/8 SS and insulating quality is far superior to my previous stainless presses. And, I would surely break a few glass presses during the lifetime I have come to expect from HydroFlask, so it's definitely cheaper in the long run. Perfect size for my 2-3 cup morning routine. Nice neutral color. My only request would be for a stainless steel top option, as I don't want my hot coffee to touch plastic.

Great Purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned several french presses over the decades and never been happy with any of them. I had been eyeing this french press for a while. Frankly, I was hoping that one day, HydroFlask would make a smaller one, since I'm the only coffee drinker in the family. I finally, broke down and got it. It's GREAT! Beyone my expectation. If I preheat it, by filling with hot tap water while I'm wating on my kettle to boil, it will keep my coffee hot for a while. I can drink it leisurely and not have to hurry. The coffee stays hot.

Do you French press and travel?

Let me tell you. Coffee is a quality of life issue for me and I only French press. I want to have my coffee, the way I like it, everyday-especially when I travel. This press is truly excellent. It packs easily in luggage and won't break like a normal glass press could. With it, I NEVER endure crap hotel/resort coffee. My morning coffee is exactly what I have at home. And that sets a good tone for my day. I have enjoyed using this so much that it has become everyday press too. You should get it.

A complete waste of money. Leaks, won’t stay warm

The Hydro Flask coffee press looks nicely made, But it leaks when you pour it, and you have to be extremely careful during pressing. Three times, during pressing, the plunger suddenly shoots down into the pot and hot coffee shot out of the pot and burned me. You have to grip the top and the pot firmly, or watch out! It also does not keep coffee warm, not even 20 minutes.

This is working great for herbal tea!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure this would work, without a removable filter. But I make ginger tea most days in the winter and I like to drink it warm. It turns out this works great!

French Press

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was expecting more from this product. . I ordered with excitement and was totally let down. I love all hydro flask products and own many, so I was a bit disappointed. It leaks when you pour because the lid is so loose and flimsy. , it does not keep warm, like promised…. an hour and coffee is already luke warm. I reached out and mentioned my concern with the lid and was told that it’s normal. I feel like improvements should be made.

Works Great, Looks Great!

I put the Hydro Flask French Press to the test today and it has exceeded my expectations. It is build super sturdy like my other Hydro Flasks and the Stainless Steel finish looks awesome. The insulating properties kept my brew hot, which I enjoyed over the course of hours. I'm a bit of a newbie with French Press, but it came with simple instructions that were easy to follow.

I love hydro flask but so disappointed in this product

I am a big fan of Hydro Flask. So, you can imagine how thrilled I was to get this as an early Christmas gift. However, I am very disappointed. The spout is way too small and pours very slowly and if you pour too fast it leaks all over the counter. And, for the price, it seems very low quality compared to the MANY other hydro flask items I own. It does keep my coffee hot.

Fantastic quality.

Perfect for when I want to sit on the snowy porch of the barn and drink coffee with my neighbor. Got the insulated mugs too and now it’s no longer a race to see if we can drink it before it’s cold. Performs as advertised and that’s rare these days. Already dropped it once on concrete and there’s not a dent or scratch. My guess is it’ll last the rest of my life.

Mostly Satisfied

Everything works to expectation, but there are a few complaints. 1-The spout is a bit too small. 2-The edges on top of the cup feels rigid and sharp enough where you can cut yourself. 3-The lid feels cheap and could fall off while pouring. 4-Could benefit if it had water levels markings inside, not just the "MAX".
