Nice hat, poor tag placement
Nice hat, but I’m shocked Arc’teryx couldn’t come up with a better way to sew in the tags than this. Very annoying to have to tuck these into the hat.
A very "floppy" boonie style hat
As a retired military guy I've had a lot experience with different types of headgear and one of my favorites was the boonie hat which we were only authorized to wear in certain deployed locations. On the home front at my ranch I have a few different boonie hats that I wear and decided to give this one a try. My hat size is 7 1/8 and the S/M size of the Cranbrook Hat fits fine with a little adjustment. The fabric is very light weight and moisture wicking/fast drying which I really appreciate during our roasting summers. My only criticism is that the brim has zero structure to it and is very floppy sometimes hanging over my eyes or touching my ears. I find myself fiddling with it frequently which is kind of annoying. If you like this style of head cover then it might be worth a try.
Great summer hat to keep the sun out of your eyes.
I have this hat both in black and forage to match with my outfits. This hat is pretty much as you'd expect, lightweight with great moisture wicking. You hardly notice the hat when you are hanging it off your neck. it works perfect in the 90f+ summer heat and doesn't run hot at all. Been wearing it all summer as a stylish hat or during physical activities. It's not different any from my REI hat, but you know. 'Arc'teryx'
Lightweight, wavy brim, not a flat top
I really enjoy it, the brim is even wavier than pictured and it gives it style. The top and bottom sections of the hat are also a little more seamless than pictured and the separation allows serious breathing (and the top isn't hardly at all flat when being worn). The XL fits beautifully on quite large heads. Exceptional.
Rocked this hat alll summer!
Awesome hat and it looks great but the rim gets really floppy after a few days of use. I wove a light gauge wire through the brim to keep it more upright and that worked great. I'll rock this hat all next summer during the canoe season!
Heavier than the other buckets (in a good way)
Felt more durable than the other bucket hats offered. I think it might be a little warmer on the head for a sunny day, but to be determined. Purchased so I can pack away for travel.
Nice floppy hat!
Great floppy hat. Comfortable and adjustable. Nice and casual. Wore it a few times sea kayaking and will use it on some rivers this summer.
Solid Hat
Great all around hat especially for summer. It is surprisingly breathable for hot days
Very breathable lite weight
Just got this hat great quality. blocks the sun feels very comfortable.
Cranbrook hat
Nice hat. Well ventilated. Keeps the sun off. The strap works well.
