My favorite snow pants
I wore these for a few days of snowboarding in fairly warm weather (30F). I was quite warm, but not sweaty. The third day I unzipped the fleece, left them in the lodge and just put them on for apres. It's really cool to have that option. The fit worked for me (size small - 5'5" 130lb with rather big thighs). Roomy waist. The length was also perfect on my long legs for my height. I was very dry, even after falling my usual 20-25 times, plus attaching binding sitting time, and just sitting in the glades on snow time. After 3 days they look completely new.
They feel great with nice extras
I haven't worn them in snow yet but they feel great. The waist is a little loose but that's probably a good thing for layers. I'm probably 5'8" and 140 lbs and the length is just right. If I was any taller the small might be a little short. I love the cuff liner Boa access (little Velcro hole to access the Boa system on boots). The fleece liners are super comfy but I'll probably ride without them since I'm usually sweaty and east coast winters aren't that cold. They'll be nice to use at the end of the day for sure.
Best snow pants!
I bought the black smarty pants for work as a ski patroller. I love the fit for tons of movement. They keep me warm with the right amount it insulation and cool enough with inner thigh mesh vents. The length is perfect. Im short and I love not walking on them. My favorite feature is the pockets with plenty if room for blood stoppers and other medical supplies. Id like to buy a second pair for off day riding and skiing. PLEASE 686 produce a womens smarty 3in1 in the surplus green color!
Sizing is way off on these pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these pants in large to replace the same model that I purchased over 5 years ago. This large was huge. I tried the medium when I was in a ski shop to check size and the Medium are somehow too snug in the legs. I don’t have big legs and in Large I could have fit two people in. Not sure what is going on with the sizing, but I had to go with Burton pants. Super disappointing
No snow about it these are rad
These pants fit great in all the right places. Can still work/ get around with full mobility. Snug around the waist but not too tight. Never concerned about snow in the crack or ankles. The material is plenty warm and weatherproof. Plus, having the option to dress down or ditch a layer easily is very clutch. Would choose and recommend these durable pants 10/10.
The absolute best
These pants are amazing!! The loose fit allows for comfortable movement all day, and the layering system is incredible; you can basically wear the fleece liner as sweatpants too. They fit over my boots easily, and the pockets are massive, allowing for any and all pocket snacks, or even a burrito! I will only shop out wear from 686, the absolute best 🔥
I was in need of
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in need of a new pair of ski pants for this season and so far I love these pants. I can’t wait to test them out on our ski trip this year. The 3-in-1 is a great idea and they are very comfortable and warm. The inner layer zips to the outer layer which helps to keep all the layers together but also allows you to easily separate them.
10/10
These pants are awesome! I'd take half a star cause the fleece liners are elastic at the ankles and SUPER tight, I think if I snowboarded it wouldnt be a problem but putting them above my ski boots cut circulation and so did keeping them in the boot...I will be cutting the elastic. otherwise fantastic pants! (the sweats too!)
I haven’t worn them on
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t worn them on the slopes yet, but got the jacket and loved it so much I decided to pull the trigger on the pants while they were on sale. They fit very well, are adjustable for comfort, and appear to be great quality!
These are great snowgear for your collection!
I was very happy with all the features of these pants, and they made our vacation very pleasant. I was able to enjoy outdoor activities while staying warm and dry, which was really important for me. The construction is great.
