Really really happy with these shoes, especially after a few runs. The plate creates a really nice heel to toe roll and has noticeable snappiness. The foam is decent and seems well tuned for all day adventures. So far, my max time in them is 3:30 of big climbs and descents and my feet were happy the whole time. About to spend an entire day in them on a long wilderness circuit and feel confident they'll perform. If I were to change one thing it would be to use a more flexible mesh in the toe box to open it up a bit and there's something a bit wonky about the fit for the first 1-2 runs before they're broken in (almost like the ankle collar isn't quite high enough?).
Was excited to try a running shoe from a new brand in the running sene but after running a total of 40 miles in them I found out that their toe box is incredibly narrow and your foot strikes the outer edge of the plate which curls over the side of the shoe. Got plantar fasciitis and had to stop wearing them. Unbelievably terrible for running. Buy trail shoes from any other brand that has a long history of making running shoes and is able to provide proper arch support and a large toe box.
The fit and ride are SO GOOD! The dream foam paired with the rocker is smooth as butter. And the outside is grippy. The upper is supportive and seems to conform to the foot after a few miles. Unfortunately the tips of the "wings" dig into the sides of my forefoot (and I don't have a particularly wide foot). I did take them on a 20 mile trall run out of the box and love the characteristics I mentioned, but man, those wings hurt.
I've been using Vectiv Enduris 3 for a month now and it exceeds my experience, when you run it pushes you forward because of the mid sole TPU some rain pours in without socks water just goes off because of the TPU insoles, permiated mesh. when its wet it dries off faster.. i tested it on rivers. Rubber soles has the best grip. Its so lightweight. my feet loves it.
Really like this shoe a lot!. Id say they were 80% perfect out of the box. I had to try some different lacing techniques. I also did a little trimming on the tongue. I have a high instep and the tongue was digging into my feet. Also the nylon plate near the first metatarsal I think comes up a little high so I trimmed that up a bit. Overall I love the cushion on these, the dream foam is amazing and love the traction. Also Im probably 100 miles and their is absolutely no signs of wear. Hoping to get several hundred miles out of these guys!
I have about 200 miles on these now (about 50 miles hiking the TMB) and the rest running the local trails like the AT. I've run in every version of the Enduris and this is by far the most pure trail running shoe TNF has done.
I ran several trail runs in them and I like outsole responsiveness and forgiveness on a rough terrain, but I'm concerned about its durability after 30 mi of trail runs (on the photo)
This is absurd - less than a month of use, I haven't even taken these shoes to the mountains and they're already falling apart.
