This is a straightforward shoe that does not attach to a pedal system. It does have a sole with treads that help keep the rider connected with pedals. The most significant feature of this shoe is the BOA system that allows the rider to customize the fit through a laceless connection with an adjustable cap that lifts or depresses and turns to loosen and tighten. I was initially confused by the instructions that come with the shoe (which are in very tiny print). I was able to find a YouTube video that highlighted the operations of the system to guarantee a snug fit.
Nice cycling shoes. I really like the BOA fasteners and a nice flat shoe without the clip-ins. Sole is fine for some walking but stiff enough for a noticeable boost in traction. Good width but somewhat larger than my usual shoe size, but that will work well for winter cycling. Would recommend.
Those are great pair of Shoes I have them for a week. Don't give up on them as they aren't comfortable right away takes few days/// One suggestion if you order online. May case. Wearing 45 or some shoes 46 like Ecco......... but most of the time 45 works.......... Giro 47 :-) they just run small. 45 I couldn't even put on, 46 barely and as I said 47 I never has Shoes 47 in my 55 years of life , well i have now ;-))
These shoes are very comfortable. They hug your feet good and the soles are nice and firm for helping pedal your bike. They broke in fairly quick. I have used them while riding my mountain bike and gravel bike. They felt great for either of them. They are much better than the regular shoes I was using. The soles grip to the pedals well. I have no complaints about them.
If you are looking for flat pedal bicycle shoes that feels amazing on a bike and looks equally great at a coffee shop, or even at a casual work environment - look no more. Lightweight, comfortable, ergonomic, I love everything about these shoes.
These are excellent flat pedal road bike shoes. No slipping at all (pedals are Diety), and much better than the mountain bike shoes I was previously using. First experience with this lacing system - time will tell how well it holds up.
I am very happy with my biking shoes they are great
