[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We do alot of camping in the summer/spring and needed a larger tent to fit my family.. I always put up in my house first to check for damage... I should of listened to my husband that it was too big for our front room... this tent is HUGE! No tears, no holes, easy assembly. Can't wait to use this this summer!! It's so tall that my husband could stand up in it without hitting the top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tent is actually amazing. I was really happy with how big it was. Setting it up was a breeze. The poles already came attached at the sides, which is great for a couple reasons. You can't lose the poles, and it makes for faster set up. It did take a couple of people to set it up due to how long the poles were, but it wasnt hard. We set it up without any instructions in no time. Another thing that is great about the set up process is that there are clips to put the main frame into instead of fabric. That made it so much easier than trying to wiggle poles through to the other side. Even the cover over the top had velcro to attach it which was super convenient. The awning that went above the entrance was the only place that had to be set up with poles going through a tube of fabric, however it went through with no hangups on the first try, and had two eyelits to put the poles through very easily. Another great feature for this tent was the extra shelving they provide to put your gear into such as hats. It's a great storage option. It had a huge entrance unlike most other tents that only open halfway. There was an ability to fully open the entrance and when closed you can make it a screen door. There was even a feature of tent material to put in front of the entry for the shoes or so you don't track dirt and mud everywhere. The room inside was very spacious and we could stand with no problems. Overall it was as easy to take down as it was to put up. Everything even fit inside the bag afterwards. Most tents cant fit back into the bag! I am very pleased with this tent and will definitely make this my number one choice when camping!

Pitched this tent as a practice run the day I purchased it. The seams are not strong at all and are ripping and are ripped. I will be returning this product to the store and will never purchase a Coleman product again. Buyer beware.... Coleman isn't the company it use to be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are countless places to camp where I live but sometimes the spots are so off the grid that it’s hard to pull a camp trailer to them. Tent camping is the solution and this is a good one. I’m loving the ginormous size of this tent. I don’t need space for eight people but I do want space for two air mattresses. This accommodates them well with room to spare. It doesn’t even feel like you’re in a tent inside. It’s like a giant room. Plenty of room to stand up. Set up was easy but did take two people due to the size. Durable and easy to clean.

I recently had the opportunity to try out Coleman's 8-person Skydome tent, and I must say I am quite impressed. As someone who loves camping and spending time outdoors, I am always on the lookout for high-quality camping gear that will make my adventures more enjoyable. The Skydome tent definitely delivers on that front. One of the first things I noticed about the tent was how easy it was to set up. The pole system is color-coded, which makes it simple to figure out where each pole goes. The tent also comes with pre-attached poles, which saves time and eliminates the need to thread the poles through the tent sleeves. I was able to set up the tent by myself in under 10 minutes, which is a huge plus in my book. The tent is also incredibly spacious, with a center height of 6 feet 5 inches. This made it easy for me and my fellow campers to move around comfortably inside the tent, even with 8 people. The vertical walls of the Skydome tent also provide plenty of headroom, which is a nice feature when you're trying to change clothes or move around inside the tent. Another feature I appreciated about the Skydome tent was the ventilation. The tent has large windows and a mesh ceiling that allow for excellent airflow. This was especially important during the hot summer nights when I used the tent. The ventilation kept the tent cool and prevented condensation from building up inside. The tent also comes with a rainfly, which is great for providing extra protection from the elements. The rainfly is easy to attach and does a good job of keeping the tent dry, even in heavy rain. The tent also has taped seams and welded floors, which help to keep water out and provide extra protection. One thing I would note is that the tent does not come with a vestibule or awning, which means there is no covered area to store gear or shoes outside the tent. However, this is a minor issue, and there are aftermarket solutions available if you want to add a vestibule or awning to the tent. Overall, I am very impressed with Coleman's 8-person Skydome tent. It is easy to set up, spacious, well-ventilated, and provides excellent protection from the elements. Whether you're camping with a large family or a group of friends, this tent is an excellent choice for your next outdoor adventure.

Scored on the anniversary sale in 2025 for 138! You just can’t go wrong. I had my eye on instant tents because I have 2 under 5 and often camp solo with them. Easy up and down was important to me! Also on my list was enough size for a family of 4 and at least 3 inflatable mattresses. This tent is more than spacious! We fit 3 twin inflatables with so much space this weekend! Highly recommend if you’re on the hunt for a family tent that doesn’t break the bank and is still great quality for years of memories!

Had I been tall enough, I could've done it myself but I needed help with the top. Lol. Inside it was very comfortable and roomy. There were Four of us and we all fit in there just fine. There was A little wind blowing and the tent was durable thru that. I love this tent and can't wait until we go real camping. Until then my backyard will do just fine.

I enjoy that this tent is tall and easy to setup. Losing or forgetting the poles is impossible since they're sewn in. I'm 5'5" and can set this up alone, it's incredibly easy. It's not exactly lightweight but 20~lbs decently easy to maneuver. Stakes are required because the height turns it into a sail. The extra wide doorway was an overlooked feature that pleasantly surprised me. Additionally the freaking storage bag expands so you're not straining trying to stuff this thing back into its original tube-sock. 9/10. My only complaint is the lack of storage pockets-it only has two on one side.

It arrived broken, one clip was already broken and there was no time to send it back before it had to be used. Had to sue a zip tie to connect it to the pole. Door zipper not great, it gets stuck very easily. Otherwise okay, the height was nice but not great quality.
