grabbed a second pair because my first pair of defy lace are being resoled- these shoes are great for the mixture of climbing i do- gym, bouldering, sport and multi pitch trad in the alpine. sure i could own lots of shoes for all special occasions but let's be real it ain't in the budget

These shoes run small. However, evlov are some of the few shoes I’ve worn that actually fit my midfoot and instep. They accommodate a high arch, and the lace makes it match my foot shape. I typically wear a size 7.5-8.5 (40.5-42 ish) in climbing shoes and they fit well. These I had to upsize to 42.5 and they are pretty snug. However, there is about a half size difference in my foot length and so the pretty snug on my left foot is different to the slightly snug on my right foot. The slightly downturned toe provides great precision for a beginner shoe. I found myself hanging on to V6-7 climbs with no trouble in the toe or heel. Very well rounded.

I started climbing in a different "beginner" neutral shoe and found i was slipping off small holds, didnt feel confident and never could tell where my feet and toes were. decided to try a different pair that was slightly more aggressive and it made a huge difference. I've been able to feel stable on the smallest foot holds and dont feel like my foot is going to slip out. took a couple sessions to break in and get used to the different feel. but now its smooth sailing and I've been able to progress and improve my foot work and over all climbing in a short amount of time.

Was super surprised by how well these shoes have performed in the past month I have been wearing them. I have over 5 years of experience outside and these shoes hold their own. The shoes is stiff and drives power to the feet well. These shoes have danced up the delicate granite slabs and swam up splitter desert cracks. Not as good as a pair of TC pros, but better than the finales/Anasazi laces/remoras/tarantulaces. I mean literally anything is better than tarantulaces lol

A secure and snug heel fit. Laces curve inward which locks the shoe even more. Rubber is not performance oriented - per se, but accommodating and not hindering unless absolutely limit climbing. Great first/second shoe or gym shoe in a rotation. I downsized a half from street shoe, but this was unnecessary. While it stretched a tad, I still need to take it off for breaks in a long gym session. I will be buying my street shoe size next time. Shoe was stiff at first but became more flexible with use.

These are my second pair of climbing shoes I have the laceup tarantulas but felt a bit to flat I like these one they start to give a bit more toe curve nothing crazy obviously as these are still on the more neutral side but good second shoe I can feel the difference in my climb!

New climber here! Was looking for a good shoe that wasnt too basic but not too advanced. I love the lace up feature and overall feel of the shoe. I ordered a size 44.5 would recommend going up a size from your regular street shoe. Overall super happy and wohld order again.

Super comfortable shoe! I'm surprised that such great comfort can come with such impressive precision. It's perfect for long routes, and thanks to the lace-up closure, it fits perfectly. It's lightweight and comfortable, and the rubber is suuuuper sticky. Love them!

I normally wear a 8.5 womens street shoe but these run very small. I had to buy eu43 or womens 11. I felt the LV version were way too narrow and I have a medium width foot. Quality seems good. I needed a shoe with less heel bite as I have an achilles injury.

Totally decent lace-ups that didn't slouch much and are kinda comfortable, but as soon as that toe starts to give out, they go downhill in performance pretty sharply. (More so than other climbing shoes I have tried) Still buy them.
