Fun family game!
I tried the Helinox Helidrop game in my front yard with my 8-year-old grandson. It was easy to set up, and we used the stabilizing strap to hook from a tree branch to keep it from tipping over, which worked well. The game has a fun, simple concept that reminded me of a mix between skee ball and classic lawn toss games. If you had two of these, it could make for a fun competition, similar to other head-to-head yard games. As it is, it’s a nice option for younger kids or for a quick, casual game. The materials feel sturdy, so it should hold up well. Overall, it’s a decent choice if you’re looking for something light, easy to store, and play on any trip — especially in the backcountry.
Backcountry Fun
A fun backcountry game that kept us entertained on a short backpacking trip and at the park during a picnic. I thought the concept was super fun, sort of like a smaller version of skee ball. The only gripe we had was the structure kept falling down when hit by the bean bags when it was not staked out. We used the included strap the to steady it against a tree and attempted to stake it out but it would still topple over every other shot. I really appreciate what they tried to do and will still keep this in the kit for short trips. The instructions did state you can make this even lighter for the trail by removing the inner part of the bean bags and using small rocks or pebbles you find at camp.
Fun for the Whole Family – Even the Dog!
We’ve been using the Helinox HeliDrop Game in our backyard and at the beach, and it’s been an absolute hit! It’s incredibly lightweight and super easy to assemble—took just a minute to get it set up. Both of my kids (ages 9 and 11) love it, and it’s been a great way to get them off screens and into some active fun. Even our dog tries to join in the action, which just adds to the laughs. It’s well made, portable, and perfect for both quick games and longer hangouts. Highly recommend for families who love outdoor fun!
Great refresh on a classic game!
I got this game last week and took it along on a guy's weekend. Super fun and easy to set up and use! I appreciated the versatility, being able to set up at as a standalone or secured to a tree or other fixed object. We used it in the yard attached to a tree, then later down on the beach in the sand and it worked great both ways. Simple to set up and take down, a breeze to carry and store. I plan to take on an upcoming backpack trip after removing the weight from the bean bags (and filling with sand from wherever we camp). A very nice addition to my outdoor gear!
Heli Drop
I usually don't submit reviews, but I had to share my experience with my Helidrop. It takes very little effort to assemble as well as disassemble. This version of the bean bag toss is far more superior than some of the cheaper versions that I've experienced. It's very compact, and great for indoor or outdoor use.
Really fun outdoor game!
My family just purchased this game a couple weeks ago and the weather has been pretty wintery outside so I set it up in our living room and it's been a blast to play. It's very quick and easy to set up and very compact when it's packed away. It's a very durable game that I can't wait to play in the rocks, sand and grass as soon as summer rolls around.
Fun, compact - a good alternate to corn-hole
Got HeliDrop with no expectations and it was surprisingly fun. It is quite compact to carry and was easy to setup. It is a good variation to corn-hole, esp easy to carry to park or camping.

This game is fun and lightweight but you do have to secure it otherwise it tips over.
