Darn good tent. Hiking the Appalachian Trail and decided to go with this tent due to wanting to winter hike as well. It’s easy to set up and stores well in the bag. With the reviews of the other sizes, I still went with this… only after a week of daily use, I did have tent pole issues of one of the sleeves coming lose and going down the pole. But! A little bit of super glue fixed the issue and has held up since. Yes like any tent, there is some moisture issue primarily due to ventilation but once you use it a few times you figure out how to position the tent with the breeze to not have this issue…. It is a very warm tent… I have been primarily been in PA since I picked this tent up and with the heat waive in the second to last week of June, yes it’s been warm to say the least in this tent… but it is a four season tent… Quality of the tent seems to be very good even with the pole issue I did have…. The carbon poles are just like carbon arrows for a bow, so if you do have issues, super glue is the best way to go… One thing about the quality that did surprise me though is the thread ends on stitching have not been trimmed… it’s more of a ascetics thing but was kinda surprised to see that they weren’t cleaned up before packaging. But it doesn’t affect the overall performance… My cat Smokie and I do fit comfortably in the tent. My only suggestion would be to have slightly larger vestibules for gear. Would recommend and would purchase again… hopefully the price comes down a little.
