Durable, water resistant, excellent oval shape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using evac compression bags for awhile, the new UL ones are great for backpacking and using in your backpack but they can be a bit fragile this Heavy Duty version is excellent. It's super water resistant having used it on bikepacking trips in rain and mud my gear stayed bone dry inside. It's very durable meaning you can strap it right to your bike or whatever your needs may be without worry of wear and tear. The new style closure system with buckles on one side makes opening and closing super quick and efficient which is great for when you get to camp late. I'll be picking up a few more in various sizes.

This legit is absolutely perfect!

So I've been wanting to upgrade my stock compression bag that came with my sleeping bag for a while now, and wow is the Evac HD absolutely perfect. The 35 L size makes getting a bulky sleeping bag in and compressed a cinch, and the rugged material is perfect for mounting on the outside of a backpack! What's the most impressive, though, is the eVent technology that really allows the sleeping bag to be compressed more than any other type of dry bag, as the air can be pushed out of the bottom through the eVent material. Frankly, I'm absolutely thrilled with this thing!

Great for a carry on backpack

I brought this bag for an international backpacking trip and it was awesome! It is waterproof so I was planning on putting my nice camera in there if it started to pour rain - never had to test it out, but I was relieved to have the safety of the bag with me. By the end of my trip, I had picked up some souvenirs so my bag was packed! I used this compression bag for a lot of my clothes and it made a HUGE difference. I will absolutely be bringing this with me on all future back packing trips. Highly recommend this product!

Good Bag for Roughing It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The material is very durable. I really like the snaps on the straps which make it much easier to open the bag after having compressed it. I struggle a little with the compression since the fabric is a little thicker, but that just adds to the durability. It seems relatively waterproof, but when I reached out to the company they are unable to provide a proper-use waterproof rating.

Perfect dry bag for my sleeping bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sleeping bag does not pack down tightly. The "compression" bag that came with it didn't do much. So I thought I'd try the Sea to Summit dry compression bag and voila! All I have to do is stuff the my sleeping bag in the Sea to Summit bag, tighten down and now it's half the size as before. Makes it easier to break camp in the morning and fits nicely on my rear pannier rack.

EVAC Heavy Duty Compression Dry Bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received 13 Liter Sea To Summit EVAC Heavy Duty Compression Dry Bag in the mail. The first thing I did was to pack a Complete change of clothes in it. We're talking, Long sleeve t-shirt Short sleeve t-shirt Underware Long underwear Socks Pants. That all fit and there's still room for a few snacks. To test it out I used a carabiner in each of the two heavy duty lash points to connect to the lacing in my Whitewater canoe and headed down the local class II-III river... Spent a good hour bouncing down the river and playing in the holes. Got to the take out and checked the contents... Yeah! Bone dry! Good thing too because It was early April in Minnesota. The river just opened up. It was cold and I needed to get out of the wet dry suit and get some warm and DRY clothes on. They aren't kidding the lash points and fabric are heavy duty as well as the buckles. It handled the river fine and kept the contents dry.

Durable dry bag

I absolutely love this bag, for those extended trips where weather is expected and water crossing are necessary this bag provides me the mental security to navigate those with ease. I’ll never have to be concerned with small punctures or it getting rubbed against harder items in my pack. This bag is a must for my down gear.

Isn’t a dry bag! Useless

First time out on the kayak in Asia, thought no problems I have the bag for this, put my first aid kit and everything I didn’t want to get wet inside the bag, as per the instructions. Got out 3 hours later and guess what everything inside the bag is wet. First aid kit is sodden! This bag is total crap! And dosent work!

Best dry bag!

I am a backcountry fishing guide and I beat on my gear pretty hard. I’ve been using the 13L dry bag to keep my sleeping bag compressed and protected from moisture and it works awesome. It’s super durable and easy to use. I highly recommend this product - it’s a massive upgrade from a standard sleeping bag stuff sack!

The best bag got even better

I have been using the eVac dry bags for years. They are a great way to keep sleeping bags and extra layers dry while gaining room in your bag. The new HD fabric is bomber. I will use it with a roll-top dry bag to keep my sleeping bag dry all summer on the river. These are the best compression bags I have ever used.
