great shoe for me
Yes , I recommend this product
I wear a size 9 medium wide and this shoe is perfect for me. What is really helpful with adjusting the fit is the lace up opening goes all the way down to the front of the instep, just behind the toes. comfortable soles as well.

comfy for short hikes but….
No, I do not recommend this product
I love Scarpa approach shoes and have used them for hiking for years. I tried these on at REI and found them very comfortable. I knew they would only be good for short hikes under 5 miles. I would’ve kept the shoes however they started tearing on both sides after only 25 miles of hiking. REI accepted them back with no questions. I don’t know if it’s just a fluke or if the quality is not what he used to be.
