Good feature But must be aware that there is no insulation on the bottom. You are expected to use an air mattress on all occasions.
I am 5'9", 190 lbs, and bought the wide, long version. I sleep on my side and roll around in my sleep. I used a 30" pad, and the bag didn't bunch up or move off the pad while I slept. This bag is roomy, warm, and comfortable.
I used this sleeping bags 2 nights during a cabin trip with temperatures below 20. I was cold during the whole trip, except while sleeping. I was worried about the back not being insulated, but it wasn’t a problem for now. I do appreciate the pillow slot and the system to tie it to the sleeping pad. My boyfriend’s dog chose to sleep with me, and we were both cozy and warm all night. I’m a plus size women, and had enough room to toss and turn around, and zip up with dog laying next to me. It is bulky and heavy. I purchased a compression sack, but still had to tie it outside my backpack, to fit everything else. But totally worth it. But it’s probably not a great choice for a regular backpacking trip. We didn’t have to carry a tent or sleeping pads, for example.
