OPR Pants

Have now worn mine for a gravel bike ride on a day that started in the 20’s and made it to the 50’s and a mountain hike in the 40’s. I love them. The fit is sufficiently slim such that there isnt a lot of fabric flapping around on the bike, but the stretch makes them comfortable for both riding and hiking. I am 5”10”/ 180 lbs and bought the 35R. Had them hemmed to take out about 2 inches of inseam to make room for hiking boots. Would definitely recommend for any cool-ish outdoor activity.

Fantastic and well designed

Great pants that are functional and stylish. Can dress them up or down. I love the back pockets being shifted over to the side which I personally find more comfortable even for just daily use not to mention biking. Fitted just enough around the ankle to look good and tuck into my muk luks easily.

Favorite MTB pants

I have a couple of pairs of Zoic Edge and one of Specialized MTB pants. I like the design/style of the former (normal jean-style pockets) and the fabric weight of the latter (Zoics very thin), and the Stio OPR combines the best of both, so they are my favorites.

Great for riding

Love the fit and cut. Went with the 32 based on size chart and they were perfect. Like the adjustments at the back to dial them in. Good stretch as well for on the bike.

Great pants

Light, stylish and currently the most comfortable pair of pants I own - what is not to love. :) I also like how quick drying they are.

Very happy with these

These are nice. Can wear them in warmer weather than I thought. I will likely wear them hiking and casual. Now have 2pairs.

Amazing Quality/Fit/Finish. Would recommend Design Change Though

I absolutely love the look of this pant. I love the material and fit and finish. It is very breathable, yet sheds water splashes in a second. I have beat these pants up with serious time bouldering, hiking, climbing, etc, and the material has held up extremely well. Being a WY native myself, I am partial to a local based company also, full disclosure. The pants seem to fit very well and close to true to size compared to any other pants that I wear. My only complaints are minor, but I'd love to see little changes. The zipper pockets I sometimes wish were a little larger as they are on most competitors. Secondly, the latch/webbing system needs to be engineered differently. I recently summitted to 12er peaks in a single 24 hour day, and several times throughout the experience the latch would come loose from the webbing and the fit was then just a little loose. With a backpack on and gear it was hard to make that adjustment to reattach, and I ended up asking my son several times to reattach the latch to the webbing so my pants would fit properly. I think my fix for now, since these are rather expensive, is to use some fabric tape to make sure they stay put next time, but I'm sure a better latch system that can handle body movements would be welcomed.
