Runs Small
Loved the concept of this balaclava, but the quality ran short. The wire that shapes the nose peice poked through on the second wear as it did not have the plastic protective end cap on one end. It ran a bit small too but kept my head and face warm in 15F temperatures. REI refunded the item due to the defect.
Don't buy
This product is poorly designed with the wires to fit around the nose. No one wants wire poking into their face and having to reshape the wire every time you remove the item or even take a drink. The fabric seems to be good and might likely be warm, but I'm not going to try. This uncomfortable thing is going back to the store.
