Why change something that worked?

I bought a Rumpl travel blanket years ago and loved it. Unfortunately, last week while traveling, it got left behind. I ordered a replacement on the plane ride home and picked it up today. I loved the clip on my former blanket; it was on the corners of the short side. I could clip the blanket behind my neck, and it would hang on my shoulders cover me to my lower legs. Now, the clips are along the longer side for more of a true cape size, but it requires two blankets to get coverage on your legs. Why eliminate the option of clipping on the short side? They could have kept the former clip and added the new clip for the perfect blanket!

Losing faith in Rumpl

Comically small. I am doing a lot of travelling right now and needed a blanket for a cot. I thought a travel blanket would be a blanket for travel. Extra compact, lighter weight. Well, it does pack down tiny and is very light - because it's not a full size blanket. It reaches from my kneecaps to my stomach. I reached out to Rumpl, who said it's for sitting at a soccer game, or a lap blanket. This wasn't intended for use as a real blanket - they just call it that. This is a waste of money. I'm not sitting in fields. I'm trying to sleep through the night. Call it a field mat if that's what it is.

Very small even for travel blanket

Love the OG Rumpl, but this leaves a lot to desire. I’m short with a small frame and this did not cover me sitting in a chair. Had the same feel and comfort of the rumpl, but simply too small even for a travel size blanket with such a high price point.

Perfect Size & Function

It is the perfect travel companion . . . . lightweight, packs down to the size of a water bottle, but is warm. I love the clever Cape Clip for hands‐free wear and the compact roll‐top sack for easy packing. ultra‐practical—highly recommended!

perfect travel blanket

When I travel the last thing I want is a blanket I’m using is to drag on the nasty floor. This is perfect and the fabric doesn’t get stuff clinging to it like. I have one and my Dachshund Bucky has one and sleeps with it every night.

Very nicely made and comfy*

Very nicely made and comfy—would be nice on a plane. I like the cape clip! Just be aware that it isn’t very long. I’m 5’3” and when lying down, it can cover my feet or my chest, but not both at the same time.

Sorry but too small

There is no way that a person in a freezing cold airline seat could get enough coverage from this blanket. It’s my own fault for buying it and I should’ve looked at the dimensions.

So far, good

I do love this design, however, I would like to see the mouth of the bag more flexible, it keeps in a closed position making it challenging to get the blanket back in.

Perfect!

Great for travel! I bought this blanket to use on the plane and I’m so glad I did. Love the color too! I’m going to buy a regular size blanket next. 🙂👍

Beautiful, useful cousin

I already own 4 Rumpl full-size blankets. This travel size is exactly what I needed for early morning ferry rides in the often cold Puget Sound
