Somethings up with the consistency of the fabric
I own 10-12 of these tanks. I love them and wear often. Today I found a small hole in one I haven’t worn too many times and this is the 4th small hole I’ve found in the 4th tank in various places. So today I decided to look closer at the fabric of two of my blue ones and I noticed a difference in the thickness of the fabric. But I have a pin size hole in both of them regardless of thickness. They aren’t washed after every wear so I don’t think they’ve been over washed. So I’d say I’m not too happy with the durability of them. I’m pretty sure I’m not snagging them, otherwise I’d have more small holes in my other shirts which I don’t. A few of them are holding up great but there is definitely a lot of holes IMO.
Understated staple
These are so much better than I expected. I own one in every color except the gray- and I think I’m going back for that. I am 6 months pregnant and these are so comfortable and lifesavers for layering and covering my bump. The quality is so nice and they’re all very soft- except the white, because it’s not heathered (somehow that makes it softer). In my present state I can’t give thoughts on fit or flatter while not enlarged with a child but I can’t imagine they would be unbecoming. LOVE! Not one to lightly drop so much on *tank tops* but they’re not a cheap, sweat-in kind of grade. I hope they will keep rotating in more colors for the seasons!
Great Staple Tank!
I've been sporting PrAna for a few years now, and I was excited to find a tank top without a built-in bra. This ribbed tank has AMAZING stretch, so I don't understand the reviews that say it's "too tight" because it's meant to hug the body. The slight compression allows me to wear this top without a bra (always preferred). The neckline is high but not too high- nice coverage for large chested ladies, and no weird gapping in the armpits. The longer length is a nice feature as it seems like crop tops are the rage nowadays. All of this being said- I'm 5'4 at 175lbs (size 10-12) and I wear a Medium in this top. Normal sizing for PrAna tops being M-L.
A little too tight for me
Great blue gray color and love the ribbing, but the fit was a bit tighter than I prefer. I sized up to medium but still too tight of a fit. It’s also a very grabby fabric; would like a little more softness and stretch. Keeping it but hoping it will still work for high waisted pants or shorts, but it may end up being more useful as an undershirt that subs for a bra. The arm holes are good and not grabby, but around the middle you will want to be pretty rock solid to look great in this shirt. And, there’s nothing special about the cut of this shirt; looks like every other too-tight tank out there except for the cool color.
Functional Tank
This is a great tank top either on its own or as a layer. I own it in several colors, and the fabric is super soft. I'm 5'5", 125 lbs, curvy athletic body type, and usually wear XS in prAna tops, but I wear a S in this style since it is very fitted, and it tends to ride up off of my hips. The only thing I would change about this top (and other prAna styles) is the tag. There is a scratchy tag sewn in to the side seam, and the only way I've found to get it out is to use a seam ripper and then re-stitch the seam once the tag is removed. It would be great if you could use softer tags or make them easier to remove!
As an under shirt
I got this tank because I'm always having to squat or reach down at work and I wanted a tank to tuck into my pants so nothing would show. It does the job. It's very stretchy. The lining on the straps is nice and thick. I think to wear as an undershirt it's great.
Great tucked in with high waisted pants
Nice looking ribbed top. Firs a little tighter that I want it to. I like the snug fit but a little too snug. I still decided to keep it though. Looks good tucked in with high waisted pants. Not the best untucked though bc so slim.
So soft and high quality
❤️ love these tank tops! I got one in every color and wear them almost every day. They are so comfortable it’s like second skin. I will never buy cheap ones again now that I know what it’s like wearing high quality.
Obsessed. The perfect tank
I seriously love this tank so much that I have 5 of them. I feel so fit and pretty and strong in them. And they are a perfect under layer. O love how they make my arms look and I feel super stream lined in them
My new favorite top!
I wore this for the first time today and once I got home immediately ordered 3 more in different colors. The fabric is soft and feels good against my body. The cut is perfect for my body - 5'5", 115 lbs, slim/athletic build. I normally wear an XS but after reading some other reviews decided to go up a size. The S fits perfectly. I love the slightly higher neck, and it fits great under my arms. Love the longer, gently snug length too. I bought this to teach yoga in, and will end up wearing them everywhere.. layered over the top of my yoga pants, or tucked into other pants.
