Well built, but a few annoying design choices

Pros: fits 2 laptops in a protected sleeve; rain cover + pannier conversion mechanism keep the whole backpack clean; pannier attachment mechanism is easy to use and very secure Cons: bigger than it needs to be for most commuters; not super versatile for uses outside of commuting; in pannier mode the top handle is inaccessible making it a little awkward to handle; also in pannier mode the rain cover elastic is the only thing securing the back cover on (hasn't caused issues, but doesn't inspire confidence); the zipper on the back cover for backpack/pannier conversion has a tendency to jam

BEWARE! Dangerous and doesn't fit users under 6'

This is not quite the same model as I purchased a few years ago. I bought Two Wheel Gear's oiled (for water resistance) pannier that converts to a backpack. I'm 5'7" and the backpack does NOT adjust to fit at all correctly; it hits my tailbone and very much hurts to wear. It's designed ONLY for those who 6' tall or taller (in other words, it's designed for tall men and will not fit the majority of women or men under 6'). In addition, ALARMINGLY, the straps of the pannier REGULARLY get caught in the spokes of my bike which is a standard size, causing the wheels to suddenly seize in traffic! When I brought these major issues to the attention of the manufacturer, they were arrogant and did not help at all with the serious design flaws. When I bought the Two Wheel Gear pannier/backpack which was about $200, I thought I was buying a quality product for "life" - or at least long-term use. But it is useless and I have since bought a regular backpack that adjusts properly doesn't damage my back and spine, and panniers that are not a major safety hazard like Two Wheel Gear's. Beware of Two Wheel Gear! DO NOT BUY!
