Mammut  Ducan Guide HS Hooded Jacket - Men's

The jacket is very comfortable and flexible, breathes wonderfully, and has great wind/water protection. The is lighter for the level of water resistance and warmth you get. The sizing is a bit off - I found the tag sizes much smaller than how they fit. I'm 5'11", 175lbs, and went with a small, even though all my other clothes are medium. I used this as an outer shell over a inner jacket - inner jacket was a medium and this jacket in small is bigger than my arteryx atom LT jacket in medium. So, consider a size down.

Die Jacke wirkt stabil verarbeitet und bietet trotz ihrer Leichtigkeit eine gute Wärmeisolierung bei kühlem Wetter. Das Außenmaterial weist Wasser gut ab, sodass eine Wanderung bei Regen problemlos möglich ist. Ich hatte sie basierend auf der Größentabelle und meinen Maßen zuerst in M bestellt, was aber deutlich zu groß war. Größe S passt mir gut, sollte aber laut Tabelle vom Brustumfang her zu klein sein.

not amazing at any one job but definitely good enough at most of them. I primarily use it skiing and it isn’t the best tool for the job (no ski specific features) but its definitely better than a lot of jackets i’ve tried for that purpose. waterproofing works great and it’s durable enough (it’s got one crampon hole from being in a backpack, not it’s fault). it’s a little vain, but the color is beautiful.

I own multiple mammoth products and this coat fits the high-quality expectations I have of this company. I’ve used it for a hike in Colorado in the rain and it is absolutely made for strapping on a backpack and heading out into rough country. It’s breathable and tough. I am 6–2 and 195 pounds and I can wear a thin base and a thin mid layer underneath and be very comfortable.

This is just a great jacket, particularly at the EV outlet price. Looks great, helmet compatible hood, packs down small, very effective at shedding moisture. The color is a tad aggressive for my taste but it isn’t gaudy. True to size. It’s a winner.

Love the feel, the fit (got an XL as a 6'2" 230 guy, fits loose, but i like that fit, and will fit baselayers very well), the pockets, the hood, and the soft area where you zip up all the way to your chin.

Excellent fit and finish on this garment. The attention to detail sets it apart from the industry. Real outdoor enthusiasts designed the Mammut lines. I paired it with the Madrid fleece.
