My new favorite shirt
I bought this shirt prior to a trip to Glacier National Park. Wore it for an all day hike and it was perfect! Also looks so great it’s perfect for wearing to dinner. Now I need it in every color!
Second Eddy Review, updated
I’m here to add to a previous review a year ago. I brought my Eddie to Hawaii with me (June) to guard my arms from the sun, kind of as an over shirt for swim wear or a tank. It’s absolutely brilliant in the humidity! I am absolutely more comfortable in my eddy over another brand’s lightweight sun hoody (that I do love in the desert sun, but finding they are miserable in the humidity). My eddy fees less “clammy”, so my stoke level is high right now. I also discovered it makes a great early morning cover-up over my sleep tank for modesty, and the cool morning trades accompanied by that soft Hawaiian rain that blows in during the early mornings. I am SO happy I brought my eddy with! :sweat_smile: Fit stats; 5’4, 113 lbs, 34 chest, 26 waist, size SM is perfect alone or as a top layer.
Fabric is hot
Very good quality shirt, and great fit. But, the fabric is hot, which defeats the purpose of being a sun protective shirt for me.
Well made shirt - love the snaps
This is a very well made shirt. I was a little nervous about the pink color but the burgundy/pink checks make it more of a purplish color. I bought a large since I wanted a casual, loose fit and several reviewers at Stio said it was fitted. I normally wear a M or size 10 so it is slightly too large but I like the cut. I rode my bike today in 78 degree weather and it was very comfortable.
Newest version is perfect
I’ve been wearing these shirts for about 5 years and have always enjoyed them. The updates to the latest version make it perfect - enough room in the chest, slimmer and longer through the body,slightly softer fabric and love the more western styling. I wear these shirts constantly, they are so comfortable, great for any activity and perfect for travel. Great work Stio!
Great sun shirt
This is my favorite sun shirt for hiking. I like to have my arms covered for sun protection and even on a hot day this shirt is very comfortable. I typically wear a medium, but prefer the small in this shirt. The small fits me perfect with a tailored look. The medium was a bit roomier and would have been fine, but I preferred the look of the small.
The Perfect Shirt
I bought an Eddie last year and I wore it so much I bought another a couple of months ago. It is great quality and so functional in the outdoors, office and around town. It has a flattering fit and is fashionable. My husband also bought one after seeing mine and wears his all the time. Everyone should have an Eddie shirt in their closet.
The Best Shirt Ever!
This has been my go to shirt since it arrived. The other shirts in my closet must be getting jealous. It's been worn to work meetings followed by long, hot, dirty hikes, and mountain bike rides. It's unbelievably comfortable and flattering. The compliments keep pouring in. It is taking a great amount of restraint to not order more.
Light weight, sleek looking, good fit
I ordered a large which I usually need for my super broad shoulders, large arms and extra long torso and this fits well without being too roomy through the torso. I don’t have a big bust so this is even longer on me than I need but I like it. I wish they had more plain colors! I would get another but don’t want plaid.
love this shirt but looks worn after a month
I really love this shirt! It was super soft right out of the package and I've taken it on vacation to two different really hot countries and it was the perfect sun protection! However, after a month, parts of the shirt looks worn out and is pilling. For a fairly expensive shirt, I wish the fabric held up better.
