I’ve tried several running vests (ADV 12, ADV 5, Swiftland TT, and S/Lab Ultra 10), and while all of them are solid, the Ultimate Direction Race Vest 6.0 is the one that finally checked every box for me. Took it out for my first run today and it was awesome! The pockets are exactly where they should be—natural placement, good depth, and I never worried about anything falling out. Bounce was minimal, even while carrying both soft flasks and a reservoir. It felt stable and comfortable the whole way. This vest just works the way you want it to (at least the way I wanted it to), and for me it’s the best balance of fit, storage, and usability I’ve found for my needs and wants. Highly recommended—easy 5 out of 5 stars!
I have, and love, the UD Ultra Vest 6.0 in size Medium. I wanted something simpler for shorter runs and thought I'd give the Race Vest 6L a try. I first ordered a Medium and it fit like a size Small, and was very tight around the chest and underarms, so I then ordered a Large to give a try. It was also too tight in the chest and underarms, and I could see how it would chaffe easily after just a few miles. I'm returning both and keeping my original.
Super light weight , zero bounce, and just the right amount of space for racing
