Instep Straps wearing out
I bought these a year ago and wore them a lot while hiking last summer as well as around local fields and forests. They are great- comfortable and easy to use- EXCEPT that the straps under the shoe have almost worn out and will break any day now. I will hate to lose them and thinking of buying another pair. But would prefer to simply buy replacement straps if I could find them!

finally an ultralight gaiter that can be left on the shoe and not require a ton of work to get in and out of shoes. insect protection for lower-height running and hiking shoes is hard to come by without using giant snow gaiters or spraying yourself and your shoes and socks with bug spray. Enter the treated ferrosi trail gaiter. so far so good with durability, added my gaiter trap velcro to the back so they integrate with my hiking shoes without the need for the strap..
