Super Functional and Travel-Ready!
I love this bag! The vibrant blue color pops, and the zippered split design gives great flexibility. The air vents are perfect for gym gear or shoes. The U-shaped zipper makes packing and access easy. Backpack straps are padded, adjustable, and very comfortable—even when fully loaded. I used it for a weeklong road trip with room to spare, and I’m excited to use it as a carry-on for my next flight. Great quality, smart design. Highly recommend!
Excellent High Quality Duffle
Well thought out high quality duffle. Full padded harness that tucks away. Sternum strap is good for added support. Great organization in main compartment. Split design allow to separate dirty clothes and wet clothes. End pocket for smaller items. Lots of options to organize gear. Handle straps on all sides for grab and go. Made out of Water resistant and strong abrasive material. Excellent Overall Pack
Perfect gym bag. not for one bag travel
This travel bag is may work for some people but may not work for others. It really depends on your preference and how you will use this bag. I'd say it is a great gym bag but if you're going to use it for travel as a one bag travel it is not ideal. I can also see this bag as a bag to be used if you have a car and you're only going to use it from the car to your destination and back. It would be hard to use this as a one bag travel especially if your backpacking because it's not really as versatile as the other Osprey travel backpacks. I really like the organizational level of this backpack and the flexibility to be able to use it as one large bag or as a divided layers. One part of the bag has mesh and it has a separate mesh pocket on the side in order for your stuff to get aired out if needed. With the separators you can have so many compartments to customize your packing. I was not sure about the blue color online but when I received it it actually looks really nice and I'm glad that I got the blue one instead of the usual black color as most of my Osprey bags are black. I really like the outer material because it is shiny and easy to clean compared to the other Osprey bags that I've had.
Lots of compartments, versatile, high quality bag
I used this for a weeklong surf trip to El Salvador and it was perfect for my needs. It has comfy shoulder straps when I needed my hands free to carry other things and it tucks away too! This bag has so many different compartments and I really appreciated how you could easily grab whatever you needed without having to dig to the bottom of the bag. There are zippers that can open in a lot of different areas. The exterior is very tough and the black looks sleek. There is a ventilation zipper which was great when I had to pack up some wet rashguards - helps keep it from smelling! Overall, I really liked this bag and this is my goto one for when I don't want to use a roller.
Durable, great compartments, makes packing easy
What a great pack! I like how versatile it is in terms of the different ways to carry it. There are multiple ways (handles) to carry it, plus it can be worn as a backpack. This makes it really easy to load in and out of a and pack into a vehicle, take to and put in a particular spot in a room, and can leave your hands free to carry other things at the same time. There are multiple compartments and zippered, mesh sections. The one place for improvement would be to have the different compartments be different colours (outside and inside) or make the zippers for different compartments different colours as it can be challenging to remember which compartment you put your things in. The material is really durable and either waterproof or at least extremely water resistant. This pack is super well made and has become my go-to travel bag. I'd feel confident using it in any situation - air travel, camping, etc.
Better as checked bag vs carryon
I was incredibly excited for this bag as I was traveling overseas often for work and having a carryon I could load up with a couple days of clothing and items seemed the perfect fit for what I was looking for. However I think this bag might have been over engineered which caused it to miss a few key functionality characteristics. It will serve me better as an additional checked duffle bag rather than as a carry on bag in the future. I get that they are aiming for a streamlined look but it comes at the expense of some very useful pockets. There wasn’t a single sleeve or pocket for a water bottle. If it’s supposed to be a carryon that packs it all then the pack could use just one sleeve for a laptop or e-reader to slide in and out easily at security checkpoints. I do like the multiple points you can lash things down but I don’t want everything dangling off my pack or it defeats the purpose of it being a streamlined carryon if my neck pillow and headphones case are hooked on with d-rings. It does pack quite a bit of clothing and if folded right and compressed down it will keep clothes from being too wrinkled. When zipping and unzipping the top compartment the shoulder strap often gets in the way and I catch the edge of the strap in the zipper. This isn’t an issue when the shoulder straps are stashed away. When packed full it will fit under airline seat in front of you but you will have zero foot space. I’m short so this usually doesn’t bother me. The material on the bottom is durable and waterproof. It slides nicely in and out of compartments. You’ll likely want to stash it in the overhead compartment on flights or trains. The multiple compartments within can be unzipped and stashed out of the way to make a larger zipper compartment which can be nice. I’m still trying to figure out the purpose or functionality of the weird little zipper vent. It doesn’t open it up much to vent if that’s what it’s for, and it would be better served as another smaller pocket to stash small items in. It’s only about 5 inches in length and the mesh is quite thick so not breathable. Wearing the shoulder straps is ok but the upper weight falls back and away from shoulders and the bottom of the bag will dig into your lower back which is fine if you have soft items in the lower end of the bag. I am a shorter smaller chested woman so the chest strap being adjustable was important to the comfort of carrying it. They could have added an elastic lashing to keep the end part of the chest strap from dangling.
Highly functional and versatile travel bag!
I'm absolutely thrilled with this travel duffel! It has an extremely thoughtful design and has become my go to for many different types of trips. It's incredibly lightweight and feels really durable —it's fantastic to see such strong, water-resistant material made from 100% recycled nylon. The square shape is a game-changer for efficient packing, and the carry system with the backpack straps makes carrying heavy loads a breeze. I particularly love the optional split-case packing; being able to switch between a traditional duffel and a 50/50 clamshell design allows me to keep things tidy and organized and makes packing and unpacking more bearable. The ventilated top section is also a game changer - perfect for separating damp items. Did I also mention that it's a beautiful color and makes me happy when I look at it? This duffel delivers on all fronts! Highly recommend!
Now this is a TRAVEL BAG!
The person behind the design and construction of this bag deserves accolades for their impressive work. To ensure its quality, I conducted a thorough test before my trip to the east, filling the bag with 30 pounds of clothes and weights. It delivered outstanding performance during a 5-mile ruck, showcasing its well-designed compartments and comfortable straps. Features like the retractable back straps demonstrated thoughtful attention to detail and making it easly stored in the planes over head bin. Following two weeks of daily use, the bag remains in excellent condition, with the only notable downfall being a water bottle holder, which would have enhanced its functionality during my flights.
Travel Essential
This duffel is made to carry in your hand, on your back, or over your shoulder. However, you can also reconfigure the handle attachment points to turn the bag into a backpack. I carried it as a backpack during a trip to Japan. It was the only bag I brought with me on the plane, everything that I needed fit, and I was able to use it as my carry on, no checked luggage. I used it the whole trip, when it got dusty, I was able to wipe it down and keep going. Seriously Amazing!!!
Comfortable
Its comfortable design and alot of storage space make it a joy to carry, and its well made, strong and ensures it can withstand the demands of hiking or everyday travel. Works good as a carry on while flying.
