A wonderful hybrid smartwatch
I still wear the Garmin vivomove HR from time to time. Tried the vivomove style, and went through three different versions of the Garmin vivomove Trend. It was a nice timepiece and the design was lovely. One in a while the touch screen was not quite precise enough for my needs. The auto-brightness never quite got the screen bright enough. Battery life was great, weight was lovely, and the navigation was easy. As far as accuracy goes, yes, I felt it was just as accurate as my Garmin Fēnix 7X or EPIX 2. Why didn't I keep it? 1. no airplane mode 2. no shutdown feature 3. no Health Snapshot 4. no morning report
Replaced Vivomove HR
(Cream Gold, French Grey Band) Needed a replacement for the HR, as I had it for YEARS and wore it until the screen stopped working (Garmin, you rock!) This is like the upgraded version! I love that it gives you a “Body Battery” and that I can track my water intake from the watch face. The face is so customizable, it’s crazy that they give you so many options. Additionally, the HR would track the distance walked, but did not have GPS features. This Trend will track distance and give you a map of where you walked or ran. My charge lasts around 3-4 days before needing a boost, and probably only takes 15 minutes to get back to a full charge. It also looks very elegant when the face is not lit up. Love it so far!
Love this watch
I received my vivomove Trend about a month ago, and I love it. I wanted a smart watch that would track and encourage me in core health and fitness issues (steps, stairs, calories, heart rate, respiration, sleep tracking, stress levels, etc) while also having some of the core communication features (reading texts, getting calendar reminders, notifications, email, etc)… but I always disliked the look of most smart watches. I wanted one that still looked like a traditional watch. This watch meets ALL those criteria. Major fitness buffs or people who want to be able to send texts from their watch will want more, but those features weren’t necessary for me. I ordered the silver face with a grey band - it’s beautiful and I get so many compliments. I was a bit concerned that white text on the silver background could be hard to read, but brightness controls have meant that’s not a problem at all. I also ordered a simple stainless steel band that is easily interchangeable with the grey silicone, and when I wear the watch with that band, it looks like an incredibly elegant watch. The *only* thing I wish was different was that somehow the watch hands would have a slight glow to them so that in the dark you could see the time (even that has a workaround though, because you could select a smartwatch face that shows the time electronically in the dark). Love this watch!
Solid watch and beautiful. Not a sport watch.
This is a solid watch. And it's very attractive. For me it is a second, dressier watch. Daily I rely on the GPS and additional features of a sportier Garmin watch. But for days and nights that I'm going out or being professional, the Trend is perfect. The functionality is seamless once you get acclimated to the alternate UI necessitated by the physical watch hands. Charging with wireless is a nice option, though I still mostly use the corded charger since my wireless chargers are all vertical. My only two minor complaints are that 1) timers and alarms don't sync between watches and don't automatically shut off when you're not actually wearing the watch. 2) I'm not a huge fan of any of the available digital watch faces and couldn't find any custom faces on connect IQ that I wanted. Overall I'm very happy with this watch and it fits perfectly for my use case.
Looks great; not easy to use
I really wanted to like this watch. I’ve been looking everywhere for a less obtrusive smart watch and thought this would be it. I love how low it is, and that it has actual watch hands. It is a good looking watch. In the month I had it, I was not able to master the tapping and scrolling to find the menu I needed. I was also unable to change certain settings that made my watch annoying. For example, I want email notifications to show up on my phone, I don’t want them to show up on my watch; you can’t make that distinction if you have an iPhone. I also didn’t like that you couldn’t view the actual watch at night. Ultimately, I ended up returning this watch.
Great everyday watch
I wear this watch ever day. I get so many compliments on it and everyone loses it when I tell them it's a smart watch. I has all the functions I need in an everyday watch. One of my favorite features is the "find my phone" button that makes it easy to locate your phone. I've been swimming with it and everything is fine but touchscreen in water or with water droplets is a little iffy. My only gripe is you can not customize your automatic response to text from the watch. It has a few built in responses but they are very generic, there's not even a "yes" response but there is a "no" response. Overall worth the purchase!

Looks classy
I previously wore the Garmin Fenix 5S, but now that I'm not actively doing triathlons or marathons, I wanted something a little smaller and something that looked more like a standard watch. I absolutely love the appearance of this watch. It looks very classy and feels a lot lighter than the Fenix 5S. I'm still getting used to the features this watch has. It doesn't have side buttons like the Fenix did. I do like that it has Google pay, although I haven't set it up yet. One thing to note is that the watch hands move when you get a notification, so that it's easier to read. The battery life is about 5 days. The one thing I don't care for on thus watch is that it has the clip charger. I'd like to see Garmin do away with this style of charger. I don't like how flimsy it feels and that it partially clamps to the watch face. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with this watch.
Great looks with the right amount of smart
The trend is gorgeous in a minimalist way. It does everything i want out of a smart watch; notifications and music control. And the screen is readable in any light, although it does glare easily. My only complaint, that i expected from yt reviews, is that the touch interface can be a bit finicky. So that occasionally i have to swipe again because it didn’t read the first.
Love it!
I bought the Vívomove Trend because the Vívomove 3s I purchased in late 2020 was dying. Possibly due to dropping it a few times too many. One of the things I love about this fitness tracker is that it look like a watch and has all the features I need for strength training, Bootcamp, walks and hikes. I have small wrists and it fits me just right.
Beautiful Look, Not very responsive
I’ve been wearing this for about a month. It’s very cute and I like that it tracks what I need. However the screen is not responsive and is super slow.. I find myself having to use my phone to check everything. I like that it’s cute and tracks what I need but I wish I would’ve gone with a different one since the screen is useless
