I’ve really enjoyed my time with this any. I’ve taken it on two trips as a carry on and used it while moving. From these two trips, it seems very durable. There are som scuffs and scratches, but that does not bother me at all since the scratches do not impact the durability. It’s many to be used. I am really enjoying the wet clothes compartment. It’s the perfect compartment for dirty laundry and it keeps the dirty clothes away from the clean clothes while keeping the dirty ones from getting too musty. I do with cleaning out the wheels was a little easier. Dirt, debris, and hair has gotten stuck in a wheel and it impacts the mobility of the wheel.
I bought this suitcase a few years ago and sadly after minimal and normal use the side cracked fully open. Gregory said this is normal wear and tear, and that the warrantee does not apply. They gave me a discount on a new suitcase but would not replace it. I have never had a suitcase plastic crack open like this and can't recommend anyone buy this suitcase since Gregory considers this sort of damage to be "normal". I expected better quality and am disappointed in the product.
My second Quadpro 22 because first one crushed as gate checked baggage. Gregory lifetime gurantee is fake. They claimed the case being ruined was not their fault. Isn’t it reasonable to expect that your case can withstand being checked as baggage? The only reason I got a new one is they did half price. This puts it in the price category of other junky cases so I bought it as a car travel bag knowing it’s not trustworthy to fly with
I've traveled quite a bit, and with the size of carry on bag allowances getting smaller, I needed to downsize to a smaller carry on. LOVED the feature of the dirty laundry pouch and being able to expand the bag. Cannot believe how much I was able to pack in this bag. I used it as a carry on for an international flight on the way to my destination and gate checked it on my way home, and the bag still looks new. This is the best carry on I have owned. It packs a lot of great features in a bag that meets most airlines dimensions as a carry on. I gave the zippers a run for their money and they held up great!
For the most part, I like this suitcase. Together with my Eagle Creek cubes, I can keep everything well-organized. The bag is spacious for a carry-on. There are a couple of things that could be improved: more exterior hand holds. One on the bottom would be most helpful. Additionally, I have a hard time keeping the suitcase rolling in the correct direction. I gave it 5 stars, but 4.5 would be more accurate.
I have had this for over a year and put it thru the wringer. Used as a carry on and have checked multiple times on international flights. Shell: Durable, doesn't scratch easily, and bends when you need. Wheels: Very durable and smooth when all four are rolling together. Compartments: The two compartments are very handy but the pockets could be larger. I have used the dirty clothes/shoes compartment a few times, which works well but does get stuck in the zipper when this is packed at capacity. Overall a great roller carry on and would highly recommend!
I really like the features on this bag. I already had the larger size and I wanted the compartment for dirty clothes in my carry on too. Great quality and rolls well. It is a tad heavier than my previous bag so if minimalism and weight are priorities this is probably not the right bag.
I recently took this bag on a trip to Florida. From start to finish I love this bag. Easy to pack and organize whatever you need for the days ahead. I felt very confident checking this bag prior to my flight. The durable outer shell can take a tough day of travel and welcomes all challengers that are presented. The 4-wheel swivel is a must have in my opinion. The ease of rolling through the terminals was a welcomed additional to an already excellent travel companion.
This suitcase can easily withstand the beating it will take when you fly. I loved all the pockets for all my smaller travel items I may need to get to quickly. The ActiveShield compartment came in clutch for storing dirty laundry and wet swimwear during our trip. The wheels are smooth, the handle is excellent quality which makes it so easy to pull wherever you may go. I really like the brown color as well- it's unique enough to make it easy to locate your bag.
I’ve been looking to upgrade my carry on for some time now and I’m extremely happy that I purchased this. My favorite features on this is the integrated TSA approved zipper lock, hard outer shell that is expandable, and the integrated “active shield” compartment that I put my dirty clothes and muddy hiking shoes. I haven’t found any issues with this, and look forward to using it on future trips.
