Functionally, a solid climbing pack. Ice tools are pretty accessible with gloves on, crampon pouch has proved durable, other glove friendly buckles work well. Side zip access is great and has held up well. The single strap lid closure is a little fiddly. When the pack is not fully loaded, compresses nicely and can tuck the lid inside and can be well secured. This is a light pack and compromises durability - I bought it knowing that and accepting the tradeoff. I have had to make a few stitching repairs, patch small holes before they grow. Review is based on 2 seasons of regularly weekly usage for ice, rock, alpine scrambles in Colorado.
I’ve used this on three climbing trips now.It carry’s all my gear for a day. Even when I’ve had the pack at max capacity it carry’s the load in over all comfort! I just wish the hip belt pocket was bigger! Also, darker colors. This is Not a game-changer!
Absolutely love it, high quality materials and light weight ❤️
An amazing pack with the right features and none of the ones you don’t need. Big internally body, ice axe holder, external crampon / extra storage pouch, and brain with extra space for the small things. Only thing I would improve is a better way to fasten the the brain / keep it shut. It’s a small hook that often comes undone and when scrambling the brain flips up and hits me often. Other than this, I love the pack.
The straps were very uncomfortable, so I returned it
