Perfect for those 45-58d days if you are a guy who runs hot. The fit is great and the flex panels are a good addition.
This is the hoodie I was waiting for. I am running hot and breathability is my top priority. Second most important is packability and third comes light weight. The Xenair Alpine Flex is scoring max points in all these categories. I wore it on a very windy day and 35K, and it kept me comfy. Today I wore it with a fleece layer at 12F (no wind) and I learned that I should have left the fleece at home. Phenomenal!
The Xenair Alpine Flex is hands down the most well thought out synthetically insulated jacket on the market. Every detail just works — warm when you need it, breathable on the move, and perfect for high-output winter days.
Loving this jacket, I use it for going up hill at resorts and on warmer backcountry days. Very functional hood - fits perfectly under all of my ski helmets.
