Currently my favorite sandal for camping
I bought these sandals because I specifically wanted something that wouldn't be ruined if they got wet at the campsite, and they have been perfect for that. They hit the ideal balance between being light enough to pack and tough enough for the trail. I’ve been using them around camp and for everyday dog walks, and the grip on the outsole is impressive even on damp ground. They’ve held up perfectly so far with no signs of wear. Quick tip on fit: I found that I had to size down to get the proper fit, as they seem to run a bit large (I've noticed that birks in general do for me). Definitely a solid investment for anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors
My New Favorite Sandal?
These are fantastic slides. Even though the material is polyurethane, they really feel like a higher quality material than other synthetic material slides. I bought these slides due to an upcoming trip and not wanting to expose my Arizona slides to potential rain and water from the beach or pool. These slides are very adjustable and have the molded footbed that’s Birkenstocks are known for.
Not much cushion and loud
Looks like it would have great traction and a durable sole, but it's not very soft (cushioned) so I think it made the sole of one foot slightly sore, and it's loud when it hits the wooden floor when I walk.
