Awesome product
Had to review this SPF men’s hoodie. Although REI has a ton of these things to purchase, there’s typically only a handful in store. I wanted to try on the available choices to avoid the blind-buy back-and-forth. For me, this hoodie has several uncommon benefits… First and foremost: the watch window! No need to pull your sleeve back to take a peek at your activity stats. Secondly, perforations in the armpits – totally uncommon. Lastly, and this is found only on some SPF hoodies, is the small forehead “duck bill”. I’ll add in the more slender fit as opposed to a typical boxy cut. I’d say the sizing is not totally accurate because I ended up sizing down and discovered I got the aforementioned perfect fit. For me, total home run!
Perfect for Running
I splurged a little to get this to run more comfortably during the miserable winter months and this has exceeded all expectations. Thumb holes and holes for running watch are perfectly placed in the long sleeves. Keeps me warm to start and no overheating. I have a thick neck and this neck is not too snug. Hood wraps well and the bill is a nice addition. Side pocket opens to where you reach back with a weather proof zipper. Only con is the shirt doesn't wash itself so I can use it on every run.
Best sun hoodie so far
This is definitely the best sun hoodie I have tried so far. It fits my long arms well and the hood actually works. It's been great for running, hiking, and yardwork. Would definitely purchase again.
