Exped pump without the ultra
I bought this from REI I just got it yesterday. I was really exited until I opened the box and realize that it does not come with the plastic small piece to deflate for the amount of money that they are asking for is not acceptable. When you call Exped they are rude and will tell you that's how it comes. Makes no sense. I watch a video where they show all the parts. Exped should review this as its not acceptable why sell me a pump with missing parts. Pro its does inflate the mat in 2 minutes and the led light is cool as well. The pump using a usb C port to charge. I hope in the near future Exped reaches out to customers and sends out the missing deflating parts to make it right.
Not for me
So I bought this for my camping trip a couple weeks ago. I sadly returned it because it was a bit too loud FOR ME personally. If you don’t mind it being loud/high pitched, you’ll be fine, but for me I prefer a model more silent so I spare my ears; or don’t disturb all the camper around me. I did expect to be quieter due to the size, but I was wrong haha. As far as components. It comes with a USB-C charger the same size as a dollar bill and one small attachment plug. Which did fit my insulated Nemo tensor sleeping pad (size regular). In my opinion it is a bit overpriced; you can get the same thing for cheaper, but that is my opinion, so if you don’t care about all that I would recommend it
Don’t buy if you want to use the deflate function
I was really disappointed with this pump. It is advertised to inflate and deflate. It wasn’t until I got home and was not able to deflate that I read Other reviews and product information online. They built the pump to deflate, but then decided not to package the deflate adapter because they wanted the product to be more useful for backpackers. Nowhere on the box or on the product itself does it say that it will not deflate using the pump. I will be returning this item.
Limited
I bought the Exped because I trust the brand. When I got home and tried to inflate my Therm-a-rest air mattress, I discovered that it doesn’t come with any adapters. It only works on Exped mattresses. So I had to return it.
