Beware! Will fall apart

These are the best fitting, most comfortable shorts I’ve ever had. The cell pocket is perfect, love the zip rear pocket too. BUT I took these on a 3 week long section hike and they literally fell apart. I was not rough on them, just hiking and sometimes sitting around camp (usually I’d throw on my Patagonia base layer when I got to camp). They pilled like crazy all over and the rear seam just split without incident. I ended up returning them which I hate doing but 3 weeks is crazy for $70 shorts. I’d give them one star but I do think the fit and function is almost perfect minus being insanely fragile. No response from Roark either, kinda disappointing.

Great lightweight walking/hiking shorts

These shorts are excellent for hiking, walking, exercise of any sort. They are lightweight and breathable. They have plenty of pockets with a zippered back pocket and a small zippered side pocket for keys or credit cards. The drawstring keeps them from sliding down while hiking. Overall, great shorts. Highly recommended!

Comfortable with some concern

These are some of the most comfortable shorts ever. However, after only wearing them 4 times the material has a random line where the material looks pulled and has also began to pill. Not sure what caused it, as they are just worn casually out and about around the house.

Super Comfy

These are one of the lightest and most comfortable pair of shorts I have worn. The construction seems solid and hopefully they stand the test of time.
