The best pack!

I got the ADV Skin 12 about a month before I absolutely knew I wanted to use it so I started to wear it to my run club 5k meet ups and it was absolutely fantastic! Fast forward to using it in my first half marathon; it literally fit my jacket and pants from my commute to the race, a croissant, gels/chews, gloves, a beanie, and more! I’ll love this pack forever :) no complaints

Womens > unisex fit for larger bust

Kind of unbelievable how much better the womens version fits vs the unisex (UK bra size 34ff.) I tried on all of them! This one is almost perfect: - The mesh is soft; I've yet to experience any chafing - The hydrapak flasks are great; can carry 1 or both - Ample storage and organization - My big samsung galaxy + phone fits well - You can stuff the back or cinch it down - I'm a pretty slow/moderate paced runner, but I get very minimal bounce/shifting My only real complaint is that the back needs to be more breathable. Multiple layers of non breathable fabric can make it quite sweaty

Great Improvement

I already loved the women’s adv skin 12 but couldn’t find replacement bottles to fit so I upgraded to the new women’s cut adv skin 12 and it did not disappoint. I only got the chance to wear it once before my ultra and it did amazing. It has all the pockets. They updated the closure in the front and the fit and I couldn’t be happier with both updates and it seems to hold my poles better without a quiver at the bottom with the straps. The only sad part for me was the took the extra storage out at the top of the vest on the back. My green adv skin 12 had a pocket of sorts at the top I could store my hat, jacket, gloves, etc in and still reach without removing the pack. And the took away the ‘trash pouch’ I used to store my keys in. Overall, with the money and you’ll be happy with it.

It’s perfection!

This vest is awesome: no bouncing, hyper adjustable, super intuitive design. Highly recommend! And worth the price. I’m 5’-6”, ~130 lbs with an athletic build, I have a Small and it fits perfectly.

Size up if on the fence

This is my first time buying a hydration vest and it was bought for me as a gift. I really like the quality, the ability to haul some things if needed, and the material is pretty good too. Initially I purchased a medium based on the sizing guidelines and it ended up being a little on the tighter side; so I am exchanging for a large since I wear t-shirts usually when working out and would like a little more room. For reference I am a "retired" athletic build 5'9", broad shouldered (38B chest), 35 y.o., and 155lbs lady trying to get back into the swing of things. So not "out-of-shape" but not "in-shape" either. I think the large will be perfect and can't wait until it arrives.

Love love love!

I enjoy this pack a lot. I just went on a long hike and it had enough pockets for all my snacks, phone, jacket, keys, etc. The only thing that could be better is to make the back more breathable because I was sweating a lot. And to compare to my boyfriend’s pack, he has a whistle on his and I couldn’t find one on mine. We also did some running in the pack and it held well and didn’t really move around a lot. Very comfortable.

Unisex Fit worked better

I purchased the Men/Unisex version after trying both on at the store and determining the Unisex fit was simply more comfortable for me. It's a little long in the back because I'm short waisted, but so far it seems to be working well. I prefer to use a bladder in the back and the routing of the tube through the bottom is a bit of a PITA- however, they have added a spot on the right shoulder that holds the tube so that you can just route tubing through the top if you want. I have mainly used this vest for hiking and biking vs running so far and use the flask pockets to carry other essentials.

The Best Thing I Didn't Know I Needed

I have had this vest for about a year, and I can truly say I've put it through its paces. It is remarkably comfortable to wear with one or two flasks, or a reservoir. It never bounces or chafes as long as I'm careful to suck all of the air out of my water containers at the start. I'm a very sweaty person, but it breathes better than expected, and washes well when the light blue color is stained with sweat and sunscreen. Aside from allowing me to carry plenty of water on runs, it also accompanies me on trail runs when the weather requires adding or subtracting layers, and for long hours hiking or on horseback when I need a place for my phone, keys, and a hat or gloves. I'm already contemplating my next purchase in another color.

Super disappointed

This has less storage space than the previous version. The outside pocket is too small now for a rain jacket and useless imo. The bladder compartment is also too narrow now. Can’t fit a 2 or 2.5 L bladder thru there easily. Not functional for really long ultras (200+ miles). And, the front pockets are too narrow and deep to easily get my hand down in there and I have small hands. The pockets and bladder attachment need to be more user friendly too. Design something that cold, stiff fingers can operate easily please.

Functional for every run!

I love this vest! I had my eye on it for a while after seeing a bunch of positive reviews. I'm glad I splurged on this vest. It has so many pockets and is bounce free. I did a self-supported 50k and it carried everything I needed for a long day. The bungees take a little time to get used to (and the proper tightness), but once you figure it out, this pack is fantastic. I look forward to many more adventures with this bag!
