DUER  Stretch Canvas Utility Jacket - Men's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fits arms snugly for a large, But I have larger than avg arms and chest. True to size though. Material is stretchy so makes it very comfortable. Also it breaths pretty good to keep me not overheating. I wouldn’t wear this if it’s hot out though, but cool evening or cooler fall days it’s a great jacket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and nieces kept telling me they were going to steal my jacket. This is so comfortable. Just the right amount of warmth on a cool evening. So far I love all the Duer products I have. They may be a little pricey but definitely worth it for the quality you get.

This jacket is perfect for my adult son, he told me he likes it alot. The price was reasonable, and I am thankful for REI making the purchase so easy. Free shipping to the Anchorage store was a good idea - regular shipping would have taken 2 weeks longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this jacket. It has plenty of stretch and is very comfortable to wear. Heavier than a denim jacket. Great quality too. I'm 5' 11" and 185 and the large fits well with a little room for layering.

Love the fabric, also a lot of the proportions. This jacket felt awesome as soon as I put it on, and it looked cool. Unfortunately, with more uses I realized the fit was not that flattering on my build. I have massive hips and thighs and this jacket had a slimming effect on my torso, which made it seem disproportionate and silly. On someone with normal or skinny legs, that would not be a problem, and for you this jacket is definitely worth a try. There were also four specific things about the fit that bugged me: 1) the jacket always wanted to hug my lower back when I moved my arms forward or up, and that’s a super unflattering curve for this dude (with the big hips); 2) there was a lot of extra slack in the upper back so I wound up with a lot of bagginess up there (while the front and sides were pretty form-fitting); 3) the front sat substantially higher than the rear and a bit above my belt line, which didn’t work with the longer untucked tees that I like to wear; 4) the shoulder seam was slightly past the edge of my shoulder, and it didn’t exactly want to drape down, so often it would stick out in a Michael Jackson pointy-shoulders kind of way. The extra fabric in the upper back seemed to contribute to this at times, as it would act to push out on the shoulder seam, preventing it from draping down the arm. I ordered my usual size, and again, the jacket was pretty form fitting overall. I really wanted to keep it because they got so much of this jacket right (and I didn’t talk about an of that here). This jacket looks way cool overall. I might have ignored the other issues I mentioned above if the jacket didn’t hug my lower back so easily. That was the thing that I couldn’t accept with my big hips.
