Best Headphones I’ve Had
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable. Noise canceling is decent. It probably starts kicking in at 3/4’s volume, then outside noise starts being difficult to hear. In this setting, at max volume, it is impossible to hear outside noise. I had my television at a seven volume. The toggle buttons take awhile to get used to. These are probably the best headphones I’ve had from any company. It did take a reset and a 10-30 seconds to find my iPad and connect. It is faster to find and connect on an iPhone. No irritation with ears and hair when headset is on. Very soft and secure. Bass is pretty good on Drake songs from Honestly Nevermind and Justin Bieber’s Right Here.
Love these!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL never fails to impress! I honestly never look at any other brand other than JBL when I’m shopping for any kind of headphones. JBL has been my go to for 10+ years now. Audio quality, charging, comfort, pricing, you name it and JBL has every brand beat! These especially are different in the fact that they feel suede and now slick. They are different and cool! I have VERY sensitive ears that I constantly have to take breaks from headphones or headphones just won’t work for me, but JBL I never have issues with theirs. I also have a very small head and these fit no problem!
Excellent Noise Canceling
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] High end noise canceling without the price tag.If looking for great cans without breaking the budget you found em.I used these at gym and totally drowned out everything and everyone. They felt snug and secure while hitting the heavy bag.The ear cushion is on the thick side and comfortable. The sound is clear especially vocals.Bass was a little too much for me. Using the Jbl app i tweaked it and put the EQ on Studio mode and made the sound perfect for my taste.Btw the app is super simple to use no issues there.Battery quick charges and i haven't got close to them dying and I'm using them alot. The matte black with shiny JBL emblem looks nice and elegant. The manual buttons are easy to use,no complicated finger swiping which i hate.Save your money and buy these if looking for great ANC and sound.
Great Option with this Headset
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sounds crisp. The weight on them are midway I would say. Easy set up with Siri and make sure you download the app. Pretty cool options in there like Personal Fi. It’s like taking a hearing test, but it calculates Left and right speakers to how you heard the beeps and sets treble and base. Comes with a nice carrying bag. The only other critique would be, they are tight on my head. So if you think you have a larger head, I’m not sure you would be able to wear these for long periods of time. Other than that again, JBL the sound the options you get with the app are top-notch.
great headphones #Reviewclub #Reviewclub_Global
I like the design and flexibility of these headphones. I have the black ones, with the shiny JBL brand and they look so elegant. I use them for long hours, and they feel comfortable and stay secure on my head and ears while moving. The buttons on the side make easy to adjust the volume. I like this method better than the tapping method of other brands. The package is compact, I can easily carry the box in a luggage/ gym bag. The sound is clear and loud, and the bass level is suitable for me. They are easy to use with cable or through Bluetooth. I like the clarity when I speak on the phone on the street. The noise cancellation is effective. The battery is lasting for about 3 days. #Reviewclub #Reviewclub_Global
A next generation improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a huge headphone guy. I like my speakers big and shaking. But for headphones, these sound really good. They are most definitely an improvement over the previous model. Design is pretty much the same. Super comfy around the ears and on the head. Bluetooth connection was easy. The bass response has been improved. Quality is nice. Not super fancy like you are more worried you are going to break them. Noise cancelling is good. I have never really compared JBL to anyone else as i have never had the chance. I would have thought noise cancelling means dead silent, but it does not. But walking into a bathroom with a ceiling fan going and the bath running, you do not really realize it. They are lightweight and pack a solid punch in the sound department
Over ear NC headphones w/ full sound & portability
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love the Tune 770NC over ear headphones. On paper, they checked all of my needs. I have a pair of favorite earbuds, and a pair of incredible wired headphones (gaming headset). I was looking for some portable, noise cancelling, over the ear headphones. If my head was (much) smaller, these might have worked.. but the comfort just wasn't there. I'll go through each attribute that stood out and describe who I think these would work well for and who may want to pass. (Spoiler: I'd give 4.5 stars for these as children's headphones) Sound: 4/5. The 770NCs sound great, but not amazing. Compared to my aforementioned buds (JBL Reflect Aero), and my headset (JBL Quantum One), these just can't quite match the range or clarity. Noise Cancellation: 4/5. Similar answer as above for noise cancelling. Great but not superb. My Quantums make you feel like you are in a sound-proofed recording studio. These are on-par with my NC buds. Portability: 4/5. These headphones are nice and lightweight, and fold up decently. A point off for not folding across the middle into a tidy little bundle. (Especially given that they aren't designed for lux comfort). Comfort: 2/5. Here's the main issue. They are just uncomfortable after more than an hour or two. I have a fairly big head, but still. The cups are pretty small, the padding on the headband is thin, and worst of all, they clamp your ears pretty tightly. For a very small person, like a child, maybe this rating would jump to a 4 or 5. Battery: 5/5. Simply incredible. I charged them before first use, and used them very very often over ten days... I was hoping to see how long I could go before needing to charge, but they are only at 70%!!! App / Connecting: 5/5. Just good. Beyond easy and intuitive to setup, connect and use. The app is nice, buttons and features rock. Seamless connection between multiple devices and no bluetooth dropouts. JBL just keeps getting better here. So all in all, I cannot recommend these for a full sized human. But for a very small adult or a child, these could be a great sounding, solid, portable set of headphones.
We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We're always looking for ways to improve. We'll make sure to pass this along to our development team.
Smooth design and audio
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first pair of wireless overhead USB headphones. The look is slick and smooth. The sounds are much richer than just listening through my phone or the TV, and I enjoy the freedom of not being bound by wires. Controls: All the buttons are located on the edge of the right earcup, for powering on and off, adjusting the volume, pausing and resuming the music, and toggling between noise cancelling and ambient aware. I still have to feel for the topmost button (power) and then slide down and count to find the button I want. 2 buttons down from he power button pauses and resumes the music, so does tapping on the face of the right earcup. Connectivity: Connects to 2 devices at at time, so if you already connected to your phone and laptop, it won't connect to the 3rd device, say, a treadmill, and the audio will only come from one of the 2 connected devices. Once the headphones have been paired with a device, subsequent connection is fast as soon as the headphones are turned on. Audio quality: The noise cancelling is decent. I used it on the treadmill and could hardly hear my own stomping, which was a lot more apparently when I switched it to Ambient Aware mode. On phone calls, the other side says my voice is clear; I can't really hear my voice that much though no matter how I adjusted the Talk Thru amount. Settings: Additional settings such as EQ, or Talk Thru (how much you hear yourself when you use it for phone calls), will require the phone app. The Spatial Sound setting is pretty interesting - it has Movie, Music and Game options, and the Movie option creates this environment that sort of "places" you in a larger room with reverb. Battery: The battery life is outrageaously good - I fully charged it once and I've used the headphones on average 3-4 hours a day for 13 days and it's still at 20% charged. Comfort: The headphones are snug, have stayed put even when I raise my head to put eye drops in, but I do have to give it a rest after 4 hours. Material: The arch connecting the earcups is fabric and the insides of the earcups has sort of a leatherette material - I have a pair of headphones (another brand) with that material and it eventually became flaky and peeled off, hopefully it won't happen to these. A couple glitches: A small dot of pale blue light is on when the headphones are on, which brings a bit of unexpected distraction when I wear my glasses as I keep seeing the speck of light on the right lens. When I was cooking and somehow my stir-frying motion was understood as a tap on the right earcup and kept pausing and resuming the music.
I do like these!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL 770nc Headphones This review may get to be on the longer than the average so please bear with my to many words. JBL is all about sound, so when these arrived at my door step, open the package, check the contents and direct to the music. First test was with semi-lossless music files using the included audio cable.. Bounced around various recordings from different eras, different genres. Then onto specific recording I am quite familiar and know well. Non-electrified instruments sounded natural and correct. Then onto electric guitars and some with crazy amounts of distortion. To my biased ears, the sounds were ever so slightly mellowed. OK, now onto streaming music with cable attached, and a long way from lossless. Yeah I could tell a difference in the music but still more than acceptable. Switch to Bluetooth and maybe a little reduction in quality in some recordings and like no change in other recordings. Go figure! Did well on podcasts. Easy to tell who had the better recording system to make podcasts. As a side note the box says “PURE BASS”. This references a higher quality of bass not a louder bass. Reasonably well accomplished on these headphones. The Noise Canceling does work. And work well. I can be with my wife while she watches her TV show I don’t care for and I can listen to mu music that she does not care for. Should be interesting how well the noise cancel system works on airplane flights. Charge the phone. Battery life unknown. Hey it is type C charging but got to wonder about that very short charging cord. Hmmmmm. But I like the orange color. And speaking of cords, included is a flat 48” audio cable. 3.5mm X 2.5mm. Some of us do prefer a hard wire connection over blue tooth. In the hands the headphones had a nice feel of quality and reasonably light weight. Gently surprised! Now we get to my primary issue: Everything is BLACK ON BLACK. A different color for the various buttons would be nice. A subdued gray would be just fine. Just hinting. The JBL headphone app does alleviate a few of my gripes. And maybe increase the tactile feel so to find the correct button? Onto the secondary issues: The ear-cups do not breathe well. Sweaty ears and sweaty stripe across my bald head from the band. Ear-cups reasonably comfortable and headband cushioned nice. Part of me wishes the headphones were a true over the ear and not on-the-ear. And I thought the cup size a little off. Those with smaller ears a tight fitting over-the-ear unit and those with mid to larger ears an on-the-ear unit. I did not try to do any phone calls although the headphones are capable, simply not my style. And a button is involved. Back to one of my gripes. When taken as a complete package the quality of sound is the winner. No, the headphones are not of audiophile level. Maybe view them as an upper end listening device for private listening. I did give these a 5-star review. In reality it is more like a 4.63 star review. So I rounded up. Will I continue to listen with them? Yes. Will I use the headphones frequently? Yes. Will I recommend them to friends and relatives? Yes. Will I tolerate the shortcomings? Yes. Obviously the final verdict is “YES”.
JBL Live 770NC AMAZING!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL LIVE 770NC are AMAZING!!!! They are complete headphones; they bring everything you may need from noise cancellation to ambient sound. I was able to use the Live 770NC at the gym, and they were absolutely stunning. The battery lasted me more than two weeks. And with a single five-minute charge, I could get another whole four hours. What amazed me was that you can control everything from the JBL Headphones app, from the lows to the highs, to make your music unique to your ears. I was also able to use them in the café to do my studies, and they are astonishing; whenever I would put them on, the focus was amazing. With the noise cancellation, I wasn't able to hear anything other than my music. I would recommend them if you want some headphones that will bring everything to the table.
