Good sound quality, poor fit, worse durability
Received these as a gift with intent to replace my now nearly 8 year old Plantronics headset to use while running. While the sound quality is great I could not get them to stay in my ears for more than a couple hundred yards no matter what combination of buds/wings used. Ended up using them for casual listening since the sound quality was so good. However, now, a year and a half later, the buds and case don't hold a charge for more than a day or so and most recently the left but has stopped charging altogether. So now I'm left with one functioning earbud that dies after one or two days even with no use. Unfortunately it's the right bud, which is useless to me because I'm deaf in my right ear.
Useless due to charing issues
Since I first bough them, 75% I went to grab them off the charger at least one earbud hadn't taken a charge. They were perfectly seated and looked like the were charging when I plugged them in. Now it's worse - the case itself won't charge them at all, and there is no way to charge them individually. A waste of money and now e-waste. Other than that... decent sound and waterproofing.
Awesome sound
I'm very happy these earbuds. When I first put them on and played music just to try them. I ended up listening to them for about 2 hours because I was amazed at the quality and what I had been missing from other earbuds I had. I'm a believer in the quality sound they produce. Thank you JBL.
Definitely not traditional JBL sound quality
Bought these a few weeks ago. Really not impressed . I expected very clear and deep sound from JBL. Not the greatest sound, at all. Virtually no base. And one of the earpods keeps failing to connect. Very hard to keep in your ear as well. I definitely recommend you seek other options.
Should have bought a different kind
Heavy bulky not impressed at all. Battery life sucks and the charging case is just about worthless. I bought 2 pair and now regret it. I have owned other JBL ear buds and have enjoyed them. Just ordered a pair of Raycons.
No good for small ears
I could not get these earbuds to fit and stay in my ears. So if you have small ears, these are probably not going to work for you.
