Free Fly  Elevate Lightweight Hoodie - Women's

This is my new favorite shirt. I thought I was in love with the bamboo lightweight sun hoodies, but I think the Free Fly team outdid themselves with this one. It’s practically silk, so smooth and soft, but so lightweight I barely even notice it! I’ve worn it on one hike and to several yoga classes, and it has performed beautifully! I can’t stop reaching for it each morning, and knowing I will have to wash it soon has inspired me to order a couple more. I also prefer the new thumbhole style, I like the sideways slits as opposed to the in-line seam style. And I love the semi-cropped length, I think it’s super cute (and so does my husband, who actually complimented this shirt without knowing it was new)! For reference, I’m 5’4”, 140lbs, pretty short-waisted and only a little athletic, and I got the medium. Highly recommend!

Love the slightly shorter torso on this one! As a post menopausal thyroid kinda gal I'm always hot then cold so I end up peeling off layers and getting burned. However, now that I have skin damage I need to get serious and this product is just what I needed to protect my hands/arms which never seem to have enough sunscreen on them. Very light, full coverage, perfect for the desert where I live.

I really loved how soft and lightweight this sun hoodie is when I tried it on. However, after my very first wear on a hike the day I bought it, it’s already badly pilling. For how much it is, I’m really disappointed in the quality. I wouldn’t recommend.

I absolutely love these hoodies. I'm curvy/muscular and I have two, one S and XS. I tried the S first and it's a loose but really comfortable fit. Even the XS is relaxed which I like. The shorter hem is great for someone like me with a short torso. I have broad shoulders and thicker biceps and these didn't feel tight in that area and that has been an issue for me with other companies. I originally bought the hoodie for whitewater rafting. It's great in the summer offering sun protection while feeling so light and drying quickly. But I've also used it a lot for mountain biking. This hoodie has been perfect for staying cool while pedaling in humid warm temperatures during the summer, it barely feels like I'm wearing shirt. Absolutely my favorite top for any warm weather activity.

The hoodie fits just like shown on the model. Loose in the torso and arms with a soft drape all around. The torso is on the short side (which I prefer, so that I don’t worry about extra fabric that needs to be tucked in). And long enough in the sleeves to cover the back of my hands. It’s opaque, light, but it could be even more breathable, I did find myself getting pretty warm on a longer run (temp low 80s). Might just wear for walks/casual cover up.

This shirt is exactly what I was looking for. I am petite at 5’2” and all the sun hoodies that I have found are very long and very fitted. We do a lot of backpacking and I wear them often, but all the sun hoodies on the market are too long in the torso and more fitted than I’m after. I prefer a flowier fit. This short tics all those boxes for me! It’s beyond soft, and fits perfect! 10/10 would love to see some brighter colors offered!

I absolutely love this! The fabric is SO soft, even on my irritated, dry psoriasis. I literally wore for 4 days straight after I got it, and it held up and still felt brand new on day 4. I am 5' 4" ~120 lbs, got a small, and the bottom hits right at my hips, with a slightly flowy/boxy fit, which I love. Will definitely be wearing this all summer, and will be back if they come out with some more fun colors!

So upset that I didn’t receive the Bonefish Tarpon Trust hoodies!My husband and I always wait until we’re home from family Christmas to open our presents to each other. I thought I had ordered the Bonefish Tarpon Trust hoodies for both of us. I didn’t open the bags when they were delivered, just wrapped the bags and put under the tree. So disappointed today when we opened and they were not the BTT hoodies - just the plain. I went back to look at the Free Fly site and noted on women’s (which are the only shirts left) that the BTT shirt only comes in the cream color, not the colors I ordered for husband and me. It would have been helpful if there had been a dedicated site JUST for the BTT shirts as when I selected from the Core Colors it wasn’t really apparent to me that the Core Colors weren’t the BTT shirts. So bummed! Not sure if I’ll return mine and get the BTT as really wanted us both to have the shirts.

I gave this hoodie a try because I wanted a really lightweight UPF hoodie for traveling in the summer. I like it--except for the length. It should be described as "cropped." I am only 5'4" tall and short-waisted. It was still to short for me. On someone tall, this wouldn't cover your belly button. You just need to know you are getting a cropped hoodie. This was returned.

I love the color. Not keen on the fabric - it's ok, but feels slippery and more swim-shirty due to the recycled bottles, I guess. The real problem for me is that this particular top is about 2" shorter than all my other FreeFly tops. When I go sailing and stretch my arms out or up, my belly and/or backside is exposed and I definitely don't like that.
