Im addicted

I read and watched all the reviews for all the options for months before pulling the trigger. Zero regrets. Worth every penny. Easy to fine tune. It really is quiet. Pairs instantly and without issue. You're going to have an insane amount of packaging to get rid of when it arrives. Oh and im 6'1" with long legs/arms and short torso -I wish the vertical adjustment on the handlebars was capable of going a little higher, i have the seat post so high that Im stuck with mostly aggressive body position configurations. Its not an issue or a regret, as it still covers what my positioning is like on real bikes, i just wish i had the wiggle room for a more upright posture.

Horrible

This $2500 purchase is turning into the most expensive paper weight I’ve ever owned and for one simple reason: the asinine seat post clamp. I have tried 2 different seat posts but no matter how tightly I wrench down the hex bolt, the seat slips. It slowly slips down and rotates to the right. $2500 dollar purchase ruined by a garbage seat clamp. Disgraceful

Perfect

I am almost 60 female who has upgraded from Saris CycleOps using a Trek road bike. I ride over an hour every day for exercise and to help with stressful hospital job. So I can say on a non competitive aspect, this bike is perfect. I don’t have to worry about the chain anymore, it’s quiet, and smooth. I got it after Christmas and so far have not had any issues. As an amateur rider, it is amazing.

Great Product with minor defects.

Product is great with a couple of defects. I found the saddle to be very uncomfortable and had to change it out ( purchase a new saddle for my road bike and used my older saddle on the wahoo). I personally found the handle bar to be somewhat thin ( will install another tape) Another issue I have is that the power reading is delayed about a 30-45 seconds when I used zwift on my mac. This of course can be an issue with my mac connectivity and not necessarily the bike. (I have not contacted neither wahoo nor zwift to resolve the issue yet) Bike is extremely quiet but it does screech a bit. Overall have been using the bike 3-4 times per week over the past 2 weeks and have had no major issues.

Quick adjust is a myth

Cannot use for multiple people as planned since two quick clamps (height for seat and handlebars) were poorly designed. Per Wahoo support, have to use a torque wrench to many times tighter than anyone can do by hand, which Wahoo apparently thinks is reasonable. Really sad, I expected Wahoo to stand behind their product more.

Kickr bike shift

I love the shift except the seat post clamp. Six rides and the saddle dropped 5 cm each time. The between seat post and seat tube is much to loose for reliable clamping. I had to pin it with a shoulder bolt at my height. It is inconvenient because wife uses a different height. Everything else is great.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

I did a lot of research prior to my purchase and I don't regret a single penny spent on my Kickr Shift. The shipping was fast, assembly simple, pairing/integration of HR and linking to Zwift a breeze and the build quality is fantastic. It provides as very smooth, road like ride.

Really nicely made, and it works great with Rouvy!

A really nicely made bike trainer! I am able to link to it my Garmin Fenix for pulse readings ("Broadcast heart rate" on the watch), and I have it liked with Rouvy for scenic rides with virtual training partners. Rouvy automatically controls the resistance of the Wahoo trainer based on hills on the route, and the gear you have "shifted" into. It's quite immersive, so that it gives you a great workout. Rouvy shows you your heart rate, and your Watts of power, on its screen.

Is good, but not at all like riding a real bike

I had a Wahoo Kicker trainer for years, initially when I got it I just loved that if felt like pedaling a real bike. Back then it was the mont natural feeling trainer out there; felt like pedaling a real bike. I had an old bike mounted on it. So, I got the Kicker Bike SHift since I needed a smaller foot print in a small room; need to get rid of front wheel. The Bike SHift is nice, small and kind of works. But I lost the natural feeling from Kicker trainer. So I would be mindful of that. Honetly, my wife's peloton feels closer to a real bike that the Bike Shift.

Great indoor training experience

As a former semi-pro cyclist many years ago, winter training was always awful. Poor weather, cold weather, putting an expensive bike on a cheap wind trainer or an expensive wind trainer for that matter was less than ideal. Hated beating up the bike like that. Fast forward 15 years and my Kicker Bike is like a dream come true. Pulled measurements off my real bike, transferred them to the Kicker and it fits, feels, and functions like a normal training ride. I couldn’t be happier, the Kicker Bike Wahoo app is excellent, tells you everything you need to know, connects seamlessly to Apple Watch, iPad, iPhone, COROS, Polar H10. The bike itself is as smooth as glass and extremely quiet no matter how hard you’re working. If you’re on the fence of whether or not to buy… get off the fence and order one, you won’t be sorry.
