Lightweight mountain bike that is easy to ride
I purchased this for my 9 year old son. This is the version of the bike with a carbon hard fork and no suspension. My son did a test ride between this bike and a much heavier 24 inch bike with a suspension fork and chose this one. The bike is significantly lighter than most of the other bikes in it's class. We took it to the trails up at Skypark and it did fine. Pros: Lightweight Easy to shift Excellent braking Cons: Handlebars are narrower than competition which creates a trade-off. Narrower is easier to maneuver at low speed but lacks stability at high speed No suspension (but it is upgradable or you can just buy the Off Air 5 which comes with a suspension fork)
