Fantastic in every aspect !!!
+1'200 Km. In all conditions (heat, mud, rain, gravels, roads, mountains etc) No blisters. No hot spot. Still not destroyed. Besides the wear of the grip (sole) they could last for another equivalent distance ! CAMINO FRANCES all the way to Fisterra and more. Up to 46km per day. After finding the right size and trained with them, with the proper socks I can only highly recommend these shoes ! Getting the same pair for daily walks and future long hikes. Great job from NB !
Unmatched Comfort and Trail Confidence 🤟🏼😎
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hierro v9 is the most comfortable trail shoe I’ve ever worn. The cushioning is incredible—soft enough for long runs but responsive enough to chase faster times. Its secure fit and reliable grip make every step feel stable, whether on rocky paths, gravel, or muddy trails. With this shoe, I can focus on the run, stay confident on any terrain, and hit some of my best times yet.
Comfortable, Stylish, Quality, Grippy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The New Balance Fresh Foam X Hierro v9 is impressively comfortable with plush cushioning that absorbs impact well. Its traction is exceptional, handling rocky trails and snow with ease. Surprisingly versatile, it feels stable yet soft underfoot, making it a solid choice for technical terrain while maintaining all-day comfort.
Comfortable, amazing grip, too much cushion
Good trail run shoes for more or less flat gravel trails that are not too technical. I worn them while running in the Franklin Mountains in El Paso. They have amazing grip and are comfortable and very cushioned. The only reason I am giving them four stars is because I feel they have too much cushion and it sometimes made trip while negotiating the mountain ridgeline. I felt a big separation between my foot and the ground which made lose a sense where my feet were standing. The grip was amazing while climing up and down, nevertheless.
Super comfortable on the trails
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hierro is great! Lots of cushioning and solid, firm traction. I was able to run easily on all kinds of terrain, technical trails with rocks and roots, and even on pavement. It's perfect for a hike or long run in the woods. I recently wore these to take photos at a race in rainy conditions. They kept me warm and comfy. The shoes also look amazing! The light blue color is nice and pairs well with jeans or running tights. I get lots of compliments and recommend these kicks highly!
Cushion Comfort & Grippy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These new Hierro v9 are surprisingly cushiony and comfortable. The cushioning are similar to the 1080s road shoes. Although this is not typical of trail shoes, it’s a pleasant deviation from norm. The grip patterns on the soles are responsive and highly functional on dirt paths.
Light, Comfortable and Durable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shoes immediately feel lighter than the previous versions. They also provide more comfort with the higher stack height. I find the grip is better and the toe box and lateral sides don't ware out as fast as the previous versions
Toes on fire 🔥 very painful toe cap
Arrived today and went for an eight mile trail run … my toes are on fire 🔥 … the hard toe case on the shoe feels like plastic and is very painful. Cushioning and fit was good but I can’t run in these again …
Light Iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Modern and lightweight shoe, but stable and very comfortable, with a good presentation image, very aesthetic, it feels safe to run with it due to its good plantar sole.
Strong fast reliable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The y are extrémelo comfy and you feel safe downhill running on whichever surface you ateo in
