The North Face  Basin Pants - Women's

Bought these for spending the summer in Alaska and I love them. I'm 5'5 145lbs and got a size 6. They're very flattering and comfortable, can't ask for much more than that. I bought green and grey.

Been wearing these in hot, humid climates and they actually breathe-no swampy feeling. Comfortable enough that I forget I have them on. Then I flew off my bicycle onto rough cement last week. Hit hard. My knee has bruises but the pants? No cuts, no scrapes, no tears. They look brand new. That's the difference gear makes when it actually works.

I was really excited to try these pants because some reviews mentioned it’s good for curvy women. It’s a two way stretch minimal pant that looks great but on a curvy body, it squeezes in areas that’s unflattering and loose in others. I sized up according to the reviews. The waist was too large, the crotch area was baggy. The thighs were too tight and the butt area was compressed and flattened. I’m 5’2”- 5’3” the length had got longer which is fine. I think if this was a 4 way stretch I would like it more.

Fabric and length are nice (5'6", 130 lb) but the waist is TINY and can't be adjusted. The hips and thighs are HUGE. These are for women with serious hourglass figures.

Great light-weight pants but run small

The fit is perfect for pear shaped women. The waist is high rise and fits with no gaps. Enough room and not too tight in hip. Fabric is the Perfect weight for hot Texas spring and summer. No hip emphasizing cargo pockets. Great phone pocket in front.

These pants are very comfortable and fit great. The material is lightweight, which makes them easy to wear all day without feeling bulky. They're well-made, breathable, and perfect for everyday use or light outdoor activities.

update to my previous review: I still liked the style so ordered again a size bigger. fits perfectly except too tight in the waist (i'm 62, so gain weight in the middle now). Please bring back the Bridgeway pant!

I thought I would be the same size in this style that I was in the Bridgeway pant. Wrong, these were at least a size too small, possibly two. Very disappointing.
